“Loved it! Perfect in every way!”

  • Out door patio pool was heated at perfect temperature and over looked a white water river at the base of a Vail Ski Mountain.
  • Luggage carrier was not available to guests, had to either use a bell man or carry luggage from the garage. Parking fee of about 18 per night.

“The Patio setting itslef at the back of the property was worth the cost of the Hotel. It was beautiful. Pool lounge chairs overlooked a perfectly heated outdoor pool. 20 yards behind the pool was a white water river that you could both see and hear from the loungers. Behind the river was the base and actual mountain that shot up thousands of feet at the Vail Ski resort. There was also a large concrete hot pool available that could handle 15 or so folks. The patio had a gas fire pit at night. This is a beautiful setting.”

  • Location with a private ski lift and ski shop. Perfect.
  • Parking was an added cost.

“Recent renovation made the difference for this customer. Awesome location, hot tub and ski facilities.”

  • Breakfast was fabulous but pricey!
  • Rooms were very small and basic for such a nice hotel.

“Overall, the hotel was good. Breakfast was very pricey but delicious. The room was quite small and basic. If you go, make sure you ask not to be on the 4th floor as those are the smallest rooms.”

  • Skiing.
  • Room, room service, food, baggage disappeared.

“The hotel is in a beautiful setting. We had a horrible view with a hallway window looking directly into ours (no privacy). The food was terrible. Our bags took over an hour to get to our room.”

  • Very nice room.
  • Contruction going on all over the hotel, heard it early in the morning a quite a walk from your car to the front desk as they had relocated it.

“I'm sure this hotel will be very nice once construction is complete. Nice room though!! Had a deck overlooking ski area.”

  • The staff was very friendly. The close proximity to the skiing was amazing.
  • One of the hot tubs was too cold and seemed dirty.

“Excellent hotel. Would definitely return and recommend it to others. You can't get any closer to the hill. The chairlift is right outside the door. The restaurant was great and priced appropriately.”

  • Nice finishes on room.
  • Hot tub & pools closed. Location was not great.

“Warning: the resort portion (pool, hot tub, etc) of this hotel is closed, appears to have been so for months and months, and based on current appearance; it looks like it will be a long time until it is done. They have a spa across the street you can use, but it is like going to 24 hour fitness, lots of basketball playing, sweating, and testosterone filled shouting, but not much relaxing.”

  • Comfortable beds.
  • The whole place smelled like incense, including our smoke free room.

“There was construction, a large group burned incense the whole time, wireless was unavailable, Ethernet cord for internet didn't work, mold in the refrigerator, bathroom door didn't shut, tech guy on the phone to fix the internet had my mother climb under the table, the market cafe was freezing since they left the outside door propped open. Overall, the weirdest hotel experience I've had in a long time.”

  • Great coffee/snack shop with lots of choices for a meal on the go.
  • Construction work in the main outdoor area of the hotel.

“Besides the construction in the pool and hot tub areas, this stay was a delight. Beautiful facility with a friendly and helpful staff.”

  • Fantastic experience overall!
  • Only that hotel seemed understaffed and spoke little English.

“Fantastic experience. Room/ views were amazing, there is a free shuttle to Vail Village from hotel and really is worth every penny. Pool is a little small though and across.”

  • Luxury. Clean. Relaxing. Great spa, pool, racquet ball, basketball courts. Friendly. Easy access to Vail Village.
  • Restaurant closed at odd times. Only one bank of elevators long walk to room. $15 per day to self park! $6.50 per day resort fee, not sure why.

“Very pleased. Just like anything, you will end up spending more than planned once you are there because there are so many great things to do. but that is a good thing. We will do another vacation at the hotel for sure. Definitely a resort feel rather than a hotel.”

  • Very classy common areas.
  • I had to pay $15 additional to self park.

“Very nice, upscale hotel with beautiful common areas. The restaurant was about the same level as a village Inn. Unless my eating experience was a typical, they need to really upgrade their restaurant food.”

  • Nice bathroom counters and shower. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows.
  • From our balcony, we could see into a slimy hot tub that was closed for maintenance.

“We were disappointed because it used to have a mini movie theater on the premises that was convenient. It was closed and being replaced with resort condos.”

  • 1. Decor. 2. They didn't wake us up in the morning like most hotels.
  • 1. TV didn't work. 2. Window wouldn't shut all the way. 3. Shuttle took 30 minutes longer to pick us up than they said.

“Nice place, good value. But. Annoyed that the TV was unplugged and had to move large furniture to plug in, but also didn't work thereafter. The window wouldn't close all the way, so in Vail it was pretty cold. The worst part was when we were in town and the hotel shuttle said they were on the way to pick us up in 10 minutes, then I called back in 20, to which they said it would be another 20. So, 40 minutes to get a shuttle back to hotel. They didn't even bother to give a fake apology. I would advise staying closer to the village but can't deny the price was a value.”
