  • Great coffee/snack shop with lots of choices for a meal on the go.
  • Construction work in the main outdoor area of the hotel.

“Besides the construction in the pool and hot tub areas, this stay was a delight. Beautiful facility with a friendly and helpful staff.”

  • Fantastic experience overall!
  • Only that hotel seemed understaffed and spoke little English.

“Fantastic experience. Room/ views were amazing, there is a free shuttle to Vail Village from hotel and really is worth every penny. Pool is a little small though and across.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Luxury. Clean. Relaxing. Great spa, pool, racquet ball, basketball courts. Friendly. Easy access to Vail Village.
  • Restaurant closed at odd times. Only one bank of elevators long walk to room. $15 per day to self park! $6.50 per day resort fee, not sure why.

“Very pleased. Just like anything, you will end up spending more than planned once you are there because there are so many great things to do. but that is a good thing. We will do another vacation at the hotel for sure. Definitely a resort feel rather than a hotel.”

  • Very classy common areas.
  • I had to pay $15 additional to self park.

“Very nice, upscale hotel with beautiful common areas. The restaurant was about the same level as a village Inn. Unless my eating experience was a typical, they need to really upgrade their restaurant food.”

“Great hotel with a wonderful view of the mountains. Close drive to downtown Vail with all the restaurants. Very comfortable room with a great bed. Didn't want to leave!”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Nice bathroom counters and shower. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows.
  • From our balcony, we could see into a slimy hot tub that was closed for maintenance.

“We were disappointed because it used to have a mini movie theater on the premises that was convenient. It was closed and being replaced with resort condos.”

  • 1. Decor. 2. They didn't wake us up in the morning like most hotels.
  • 1. TV didn't work. 2. Window wouldn't shut all the way. 3. Shuttle took 30 minutes longer to pick us up than they said.

“Nice place, good value. But. Annoyed that the TV was unplugged and had to move large furniture to plug in, but also didn't work thereafter. The window wouldn't close all the way, so in Vail it was pretty cold. The worst part was when we were in town and the hotel shuttle said they were on the way to pick us up in 10 minutes, then I called back in 20, to which they said it would be another 20. So, 40 minutes to get a shuttle back to hotel. They didn't even bother to give a fake apology. I would advise staying closer to the village but can't deny the price was a value.”

  • Beautiful facility.
  • Multiple room key problems, odd pesticide odor in some areas.

“Nice facility with great potential. Be prepared to pay for parking even if you are a guest. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed.”

  • Beautiful hotel, well kept and lovely.
  • Great hotel, empty, too bad they gave me the worst room in the worst location.

“Great hotel, beautify and well kept. Too bad they couldn't have given me a room with a nice view given it was empty. I hate when hotels give the worst room even when a hotel is empty.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Loved upgraded deluxe corner room, outdoor Jacuzzi.
  • Rude/unhelpful desk staff and concierge.

“Beautiful remodeled room with unbelievable mountain/creek view. Upgraded to Deluxe considering high vacancy on last ski day of season. Desk staff not helpful in recommending restaurant. Also questioned me when I disputed a room service charge that wasn't mine/apparently occurred while I was out at dinner. Lots of construction resumed early in the morning after ski season ended.”

  • Great location and the rooms were comfortable.

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[6] • Location:[9]

  • Closeness to chair lift.
  • Very dark ambiance, and not lay out too convenient.

“Okay for business travelers. Set up too much like a maze-- like the hotel had been added on it over time a few times. The hallways didn't flow.”

  • The location was amazing. The chair lift was 10 feet from the door.
  • Bathrooms were a little dated.

“This hotel had great service and an incredible location. It was right next to the chair lift and they took care of all of the ski gear. Our room looked out over the river and on to the mountains. It was a real value. I would definitely stay there again.”

  • Under renovation. Very difficult to locate room.

“Under renovation. Very difficult to locate room. Had to take one elevator down, walk a distance, then another elevator up. Room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Great base of mountain location.
  • Areas of the hotel are starting to show their age. The only breakfast available was a buffet.

“Would be a fantastic family ski resort. The spa was great and the staff very helpful. Shuttle service was great even in the off season.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Beautiful views and pleasant staff.
  • Costly internet access.

“The Hotel was clean and beautiful. Parking is $15-20 (self or valet). Using the internet cost the same as a phone call (per minutes). The rooms were cozy. Most of the amenities were shut down for renovations. Close to Vail Village.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[7]

  • Beautiful hotel.
  • The room service was terrible!

“The hotel was beautiful and some of the staff was friendly. The lady at the front desk did not seem to be please to check us in. The room service person was friendly but the food took over 50 minutes when they told us it would be 30-35 minutes. The food was clod and totally not worth the $50 it cost for three pancakes and an omelets.”
