• Mattresses were comfortable.
• Location of pool, I did not like being near the elevator.

“The Sheraton Albuquerque is currently undergoing major renovation. The major inconvenience was in going through the parking lot. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean.”

• They were renovating and my floor stunk!

“What I was upset with is that the hotel is in the process of being renovated. And the smell on my floor (4th) was terrible! My room, although clean and free of the toxic smell of the hall, did show signs of age!”

• When I was LEAVING!!!!!!!!!!!!
• They are remodeling and it is FILTHY. They charged me extra for a KING bed.

“After I was forced to pay extra to get a KING bed, This Hotel is not worthy of a 1 star ranking!”

• The location was perfect. We had friends and family to meet so the location was perfect.
• The construction was a PAIN. It hampered parking. And in the morning, you heard the construction noise.

“The construction made it difficult to find parking. Then in the morning (when you wanted to sleep in) you could hear the construction noises. And for the guys - the TV was small (about a 19 inch). It reminded me of a TV you put in your bathroom. He was all upset that it was not a big TV or even a flat screen. (The TVs at Super 8 are bigger) For being a supposed 3 star hotel - it had a lot of issues lacking.”

• The staff.
• It was about to go under construction so many of the normal facilities were not available. The parking lot seemed unsafe.

“The Sheraton Uptown is a perfect location for any Albuquerque destinations. You are close to malls, movie theaters, the freeways, and restaurants. However, because the hotel was about to be renovated it was shabby and seemed unsafe, especially the parking lot.”

• Convenience.
• Needs revamping and the TV was so small for that kind of hotel, and not enough stations.

• I like the first floor because it look awesome but not second floor.
• The upper levels were not that great, the laundry room was way scary.

“Everything in the first floor was great nice and awesome. The upper levels like the second and third floor they were scary, especially the third floor where the laundry room was at the is scary something could happen there that would be terrible.”

“The hotel does not deserve the 3 star rating it has. I have stayed at economy hotel's that are better maintained. There are posters throughout the hotel stating they are updating, but it appears that they have delayed this a couple of time. From the poster, the new start date is March 2008.”

• Hotel is old.

“The hotel was obviously overpriced and in need of renovations. The furniture and carpet was old. I would give this hotel a 2 star rating. I will not stay here again.”

• It is located at a convenient location. My weekend class is located about one block away making it convenient.
• The only thing was that the walls seem to not be insulated for noise, could hear people in other rooms.

“Good location in Downtown Albuquerque close to shopping and a places to eat.”

• The location was nice and a heated pool.
• The rooms were not to star level and small TV.

“Overall the hotel was in a good location for star level rooms where not as nice and furniture was old with the smallest TV I have seen in a Hotel at any Star level. The Staff was great very nice and helpful.”

• Very nice area. Well appointed room. Very helpful front desk staff.
• I provided my credit card for incidentals and they wound up charging me for the room. Had to hound those to get it refunded.
