“This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Hotel was seedy. I felt disgusted with the rooms. The carpet, upholstery of the furniture and walls were disgustingly dirty.”

“this hotel was the worst Ive stayed in (and we've stayed in many third world countries), everything was dirty, blood and burn marks on the comforter and carpet, TV didn't work, counters, sinks, and tub weren't cleaned. Ashes on everything. Spit on the mirror. Simply gross! I don't think it deserves even one star!”

“I was thoroughly disgusted with this hotel. I have never seen such a nasty room in my life. I had to go buy bedding to sleep on because the bedding was nasty. It stunk and had cigarette burns all over it. There was a dirty wash rag hanging on top of the shower curtain. The floors were covered in dirt and who knows what else. The bathtub was orange and should have been white underneath the crud. My husband and I went for a romantic weekend and could not even shower.”

“The decor was weird, lots of teddy bears, the housekeeping staff could use some extra training, the receptionist could've used some help and been more hospitable, also pool was not working but was advertised on the street sign.”

“This hotel has not been maintained in many years. The carpet was so worn it was wrinkled. Every peat of the hotel was filthy. There was a dirty washcloth in the bathroom. I would never recommend this hotel at any price.”

“This hotel should not be included in you list of hotels. The service was horrible, once we got into our room (the keys did not work and we had to go back 3 times to get them fixed, they said it was because too many people broke into the rooms) the beds were mattresses placed on cinder blocks. No box spring or frame. The sheets and comforter were torn and stained. They looked like they had not been cleaned in many uses and they were paper thin (old). The floor had not been vacuumed and the chairs had stains all over them. The bathroom was even worse. The bath tub looked like someone spread feces all over it and the toilet had urine stains on it. I have a new car and there was no way I was going to leave my car there overnight with the questionable people that were "living" there. We did not stay we found another hotel that was cheaper but much better in every way. The travel lodge in Albuquerque nm is destroying your reputation along with travel lodges reputation. We were 5 minutes late checking out and they threatened to charge me an extra night. I explained we did not stay there because it was disgusting and their excuse for the dirtiness was "it was an old hotel".”

“Throw-back to the 50's style. No Internet access. Laundry area out of commission some of the time. Front office staff unavailable when called (going into a repeated recording loop several times). You need to do better checking of your resources!”

“The desk attendant was either stoned or mentally incompetent. We were given a room that already had a man sleeping in it and it was a double and not a king but the guy insisted that it was a king room. There were guys standing outside the lobby that looked like thugs. We were lucky that we weren't shot.”

“When my husband asked to see the room before checking in, the person at the desk did not want to let him see it. My husband insisted and found the room completely unsatisfactory...smoky (it was listed as non-smoking) as well as not clean. When my husband said we could not take the room, the desk clerk said we would have to pay for it anyway.”

“This was the worst, dirtiest, hotel/motel we have ever stayed in. Bugs in the bathtub. dirty carpets, pillows were flat as a tortilla. asked for extra pillows and staff acted like we were asking for the moon, promised to send one and they,( Nancy) forgot what room we were in. Asked for extra set of towels and they gave us towels that were hard as card board and thinner than a saltine. Coffee in the room was a bad chemical tasting stuff. Coffee in Lobby was fine. Sorry but this was a bad experience, do not recommend travelers to stay there. Eloisa and Stephen Rodello”

“Roaches get the best deal (we killed two within our first 3 hours in the room), since the conditions are most to their liking. It's telling when the desk attendant gives you the TV remote with your room key. The bed was concave, the carpet so dirty our feet were black within minutes of removing our shoes, the bathroom was disgusting, and there was only one set of towels, though we requested double occupancy. The bathroom door didn't lock (the lock mechanism was missing entirely. The one high point was that the television worked great, though we weren't very interested in watching TV, as we'd been driving all day. Overall, the experience was pretty hideous. The next hotel room up the list (2 stars, I think) was only $10-15 more per night - I'd take that one next time.”

“This place is a dump. I paid either $34 or $43 (I don't remember which), and the posted rate on the billboard was $29, or $160/week. Across the street the rate was $19/day, which is what this was worth. The common grounds were cluttered with trash, the carpet was filthy. My no-smoking room smelled of chemicals so bad I had to open the door in 100-degree weather to air it out... cigarette burns on the floor led me to believe the chemicals were trying to hide the tobacco odors. The air conditioning unit was stuck in the corner and offered no air circulation. At full blast, the room did not get cooler than about 80.The complimentary breakfast offered a dirty table with cheerios. When I pulled back the sheets, they were dirty... the mattress had a slope to the middle so you had to balance yourself on the edge to keep from sliding in. The only reason I didn't leave is because the package does not offer refunds. There was no point in complaining to the nice lady at the desk, because her weary face indicated she was expecting an outrage; she had heard it before. The TV remote was issued at the desk and came with instructions too complicated for me to even try. I noticed the walls were freshly painted, which was a good thing, but there were already holes in the drywall. This cured me of using it in the future.”

“Though I understand "you get what you pay for" this room was not up to most standards. Dirty and worn carpet, sagging mattress, bad smell, and the cockroach topped it all off. The lobby was mediocre at best and for good reasons (dirty water) there was no-one in or near the pool. Since it was for only one night we decided to stay. This room was advertised at $35.00 plus tax etc. but I guess we won't do that anymore!”

“I wasn't expecting much considering the room rate, but Travelogues far exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and had a lot of unexpected amenities (the refrigerator and microwave in particular), the desk clerks were very helpful in directing me to some local attractions. They even helped me find a beloved stuffed toy that had been accidentally picked up with the laundry by housekeeping. Overall, a great stay.”

“ When I got to the motel at 11:30 pm to check in the guy was very rude. I got the room, went up to the room and looked around there were no towels, bloody dirty band aide in the shower stuck on the wall, the sheets on the bed were not made or clean. Went back to the office and told him, and he said well I can give you another room. So went to other room, it was very dirty blood on the walls etc. I went back to the office and explained this to him and told him I wanted to talk to a manager. He said he could not get a hold of the manager and he did not even know what the manager's name is. I told him I wanted a refund and he said that he couldn't give it to me. I also explained to him how dirty the rooms are and I was not going to stay in a dirty room. All he could say was I guess we need to get another maid. Also, the pool was so dirty you could not even see the bottom of the pool. Thank you.”

“Filthy place. Neither of us would use the tub for even a shower. rust, dirt, buckling paint under A/C and microwave. Piles of trash surrounding stairwells, banister so filthy I wouldn't touch it. Lousy "continental breakfast". Sugary cereal or mini powdered donuts. This place should have their name revoked.”
