  did not like this hotel at all.
• Staff were rude and arrogant and did not make me feel welcomed.

• The location
• The comforter was dirty and they replaced it with a blanket and the toliet was broke and we were told how to deal with it instead of fixing it.

“I reserved queen beds and got doubles, the toliet wasn't working right and they explained how to handle it instead of fixing it. One comforter was dirty and they replaced it with a blanket. The was smaller than the room we had in Amirillo, TX. I did like that they had a small frig in the room. Didn't get to enjoy the continental breakfast as it was pretty picked over by the time we got there. I really enjoyed the location it was so convenience to all the places we were going to. The rooms were cool and comfortable.”

• Location was excellent and mostly clean rooms.
• No towels for pool, missing TP roll holder.

“I was traveling with my small child and needed only a room for the night. This fit the bill quite well. I was disappointed to see that unlike other LaQuintas, the rooms open to the outside of the building rather than interior hallways as it was just me and a toddler. Also, there were no towels at the pool and no instructions as to where to get the towels. We had to go back to the room wet.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The shower head and controls were very sensitive and difficult to control the water temperature.

“Overall this was a very good experience and the location was just what we needed for our last minute travel.”

• The room was clean and comfortable.
• The rooms all have doors that open to the outside, I feel safer with rooms that open to a hallway.

“The hotel is easy to reach from the major freeway. It has good restaurants within short walking distance. It is clean and comfortable, and is in a nice, quiet part of town.”

• The pool was full of leaves and debris. The wind was blowing very hard.

• Nothing.
• Was very disappointed. Serious renovations in progress working into the night.

“This was our first stay at LaQuinta. The Choice hotel group offers a muck better product. Renovations in progress caused parking lots to be blocked off not only to the hotel but also to the Dennys restaurant including access from the street. Soft drink machine was empty. Maid only provided one wash cloth each day. Comp breakfast dining area was in the middle of the lobby and selections were not up to expectations. Over all a very bad experience.”

• Clean, good breakfast, clean pool, nice staff.
• Older hotel, very small rooms.

“This is an older no frills La Quinta. The room was small but very clean. The location is convenient and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is not fancy but very clean. The breakfast is nice and there were fresh baked cookies in the evening.”

• Very convenient, nearby restaurants, quiet rooms. Easy access in and out.
• Parking seemed limited, had to park far away from room.

“I enjoyed the stay, would recommend this hotel. It appears to have been recently remodeled and the rooms are clean, nice. I didn’t use the breakfast arrangements but the eating area looked clean and presentable.”

• A Roadrunner, a real bird was in the parking lot.
• TV Remote was missing, (They gave us another)

“One of our favorites, great lighting over the vanity, the continental breakfast included real food, and they provide a free newspaper. To us this is a three-star, not your two star motel.”

“MUCH to our disappointment the pool was closed, so I had 2 very upset toddlers!! Also I called and requested a non-smoking room due to my sons asthma, we got a smoking room and no space to move us!”

“Older hotel that needs to be refurbished and remodeled. Strongly suggest that they do a better continental breakfast. Very limited. Need new beds- the mattress was a killer. Way too soft.”

• If there was a mistake made La Quinta employees were quick and courteous to make in right.
• There was no sauna

“I am still on a 30 day sabbatical, (vacation) and I am doing a lot of hiking and site seeing, and this location has/does have easy access to go any direction to beautiful destinations.”

“I do not hesitate to recommend the La Quinta Inn Albuquerque North to the Two Star motel crowd. It has clean rooms, comfortable beds, and strong, hot showers.”
