• I loved the room size. Was plenty of room for my son to play.

“I thought that it was located at a great spot. Close to a restaurant. Get 10% off Apple Bee's. The rooms were a great size and gave my son (who is 2) plenty of space to run around and play. We had a good time in the outdoor pool. It was heated.”

• The hotels rooms were attractive and clean.
• You could hear almost everything through the walls.

“If you need a quality nights rest this isn't the place for it. You can hear people talking in the hallway as if your door was open. The door keys were a pain to deal with and I know I wasn't the only one having this problem.”

• Asked for non smoking room but not available.

“We had requested a non smoking room when the reservations were made. Said we would take what they had if they would move us the next day. Never had a response from them the next day if a non smoking room was available. Could smell the smoke from other rooms in the hall but the room only a little.”

• The space and layout of the room was great.
• Mattress was a bit hard, needed a make up mirror, there were trash in the cabinet above the microwave.

“The hotel lobby was satisfactory. The breakfast room was full, we had to stand for a while till others left. Our room was satisfactory with the cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay.”

• Spacious and centrally located.
• My TV didn't work.

“I enjoyed my stay! It was very spacious and I liked the central location. I liked this 2.5 star hotel better than the second one I stayed at.”

• The lay out of the room was very comfortable. The room was also spacious and very eye appealing.
• No dislikes.

“The rooms were comfortable and very relaxing. There was quite a selection for breakfast which was a nice change. I hope to stay again and again.”

• Only had to stay one night, did have great pillows.
• In bad disrepair not what I expect from this chain.

“Someone cooking in their room, smell throughout. Noisy, ceiling in disrepair, paint pealing, all around ceiling was water damage, window lock broken using a stick, TV didn't right. Temperature difficult to control.”

• I liked the location.
• The room was way to small and the hotel was being renovated.

“We arrived 15 minutes before check in and were told we could not check in until 3:00. When we checked in the room was small and the bathroom was unbelievably tiny! Also, this hotel really should have put down that they were renovating. There was only one elevator working, and you had to go around the workers.”

• They were in the middle of the remodel, so the room wasn't completed yet.

• Good location, easy access to downtown and expressways.
• Under construction.

“We were not informed until after checking in that the hotel was under construction for renovations. That was sneaky on the staff's part. The lobby was complete, so visually; there were not clues to the construction until you left the lobby. Most of the renovations seem cosmetic, our room seemed renovated but still the fixtures were old and dingy, etc. The towels were stained. Sheets were not very nice. We also had trouble with our remote control and air conditioning. I expected more from the star rating the hotel had. If you go into this hotel with lower expectations, you will have a fine stay. The hotel's location has easy access to downtown, the expressways.”

• Room in need of repair & a good cleaning.

“This hotel was under construction. This was an inconvenience and the room rate should have been decreased to reflect that. I was charged for a local call but no where in the room does it indicate that local calls cost.”

• Housekeeping did a good job.
• Internet service was not available.

“Although we booked a nonsmoking room, we were placed in the only available room, a smoking room. After much complaining, we were given a nonsmoking room. The hotel was undergoing some remodeling; the hotel was a total mess. On two of out three days, there was excessive banging and hammering in the early morning and throughout the day. Due to a shortage of internet cables, internet services were not available. Overall, this hotel was an unacceptable and a major disappointment.”

“The hotel was obviously undergoing renovation. Bedspreads were worn, but the room had been newly painted. Lobby was very attractive and staff friendly. Good location. Good complementary breakfast.”

• I was able to get 2 beds when I checked in.
• It was rundown, undergoing remodeling, but dirty room.

“I have stayed at this hotel in years past and loved it. I really like the location. This trip was very disappointing that the room wasn't clean, dirt all around the floors, A/C unit didn't function properly, the bathroom tile floor sounded like it was coming apart, you could hear it crackle under your feet.”

• Run down a bit, undergoing construction. Bed frame was broken and supported by blocks. Hotel pictures showed an indoor pool, its outdoors.

“Service was good. I ordered a movie and the connection to the television was not working and the front desk came to get info and fixed it. Otherwise, it was a bit run down, undergoing construction. I was really upset that the pool was outdoors. The picture I saw online showed an indoor pool and my kids were planning on swimming but it was only 34 degrees outside.”

• The downstairs lounge was pleasant, small but ok workout facility, internet w/printer in lobby.
• It met my business needs.

“Located in university area, a nice walk from my conference site, plenty of interesting food places within walking distance. Quiet, clean, friendly staff. I like the internet in the lobby area with printer; lobby chairs were comfy and accommodating. Would recommend for business travelers and return for other business.”
