“We were pleasant with the appearance of the room we stayed in. It was modern, clean and appeared new. The lobby had a great Southwestern appeal; however the construction detracted from the overall ambience of the hotel (which is to be expected, of course).

“Hopefully after the construction is done a lot of the normal parking is back and you have access to the pool.”

“Nice older hotel with courtyard and pool. Hacienda-type atmosphere. Enjoyed the architecture and decor in the lobby, lots of character reminiscent of Old Mexico. Refurbished rooms very well done. Liked the patio doors opening up to courtyard and pool area, which were being renovated at the time we were there.”

“Loved the newly remolded room! Beautiful decor and comfortable! Worth staying! Indoor and outdoor pools. Food is fantastic. Close to the two major highways makes it easy and convenient to get to local attractions. I will stay here again.”

“I have recommended this hotel to a friend who is traveling to that area. I was most impressed with the friendliness and willingness to assist from the staff members we came in contact with. An overall excellent experience.”

“This hotel would be fine if you were a business traveler in the area - good access to freeways etc., but not much in the way of amenities nearby.”

“Had this hotel been rated 2 or 2.5 stars I would have been quite impressed. But as it was rated 3 I was somewhat disappointed with the room, linens, and towels.”

“The public areas of the hotel were very nice. The rooms were small but updated. The service was disappointing. They were trying to push us into a smoking. We had to settle for one bed in order to receive a non-smoking room.”

“Hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful. Parking was a nightmare over the weekend. The cabana rooms are older and need to be updated, but they did have nice flat screen TV. The shower curtain clung to you in the shower and I hate that! The bathrooms are
very small. Everything was very clean and well-kept, though. The restaurants looked nice, but we did not eat at them. It's always a bummer when there is no free breakfast!”

“For the most part, it is a nice elegant place to stay.
But overall I liked it. The staff were exceptionally professional and polite like it is suppose be. I would stay there again.”

“The Hilton staff refused to help my mother 66 year mother when she asked for more towels and coffee packages. Stating no English. Good thing is I know Spanish as a second language. Plus maid spent more time talking to the other male staff on the the floor than cleaning. I came to Albuquerque for business and brought my mother along for a vacation to see the zoo. However, the staff really upset her when she asked politely for towels, and coffee. This in turn upset me. I loved everything else about our stay at the Hilton though.”
