• Clean.
• Designed for heavy sleepers.

“Descent experience at the hotel. Rooms and lobby are clean. The staff is seems miserable working there and it shows but whatever. The problem is when you need to get some rest. It is really noisy. The fridge in the room made a loud bang every time the cooler would shut off. Sounded like a hammer hitting metal. And the elevator bell was very annoying. Also, too much light leaks into the room. The window, which is to be somewhat expected, did not have the appropriate black out shades to block the light from the lamp posts outside. The biggest problem was the 1 inch gap on the bottom of the door which let an incredible amount of light in from the hall way. I had to take the comforter and stuff it down there to block it off. Could not do much about the light that came in from the rest of the edges around the door. Some masking tape would have come in handy.”

• A bit noisy in the halls.

• Staff went the extra step.
• Handicap room.

“I am a non smoker and hotel put me in a smoking room and when I did bring to their attention, they did what they had to do to get me in a non smoking room even though it was a handicap room.”

• Good privacy factor, nice little pool, new & clean.
• The breakfast was so blah. Fake cream & butter.

“This hotel is fine for a night. It is made for business types who stay longer, so the amenities are geared for that. It was very pleasant, but in a commercial area so devoid of any charm!”

• We were waiting to check out and the clerk answered about 4 phone calls before she waited on us.

“I even had a small breakfast included in the price. I would definitely stay there again.”

• It was nice, nice location.
• We weren't given 2 beds, they gave us a king size bed. We weren't given preference.

“I guess she thought we weren't paying enough or something, she was rude. Also, we weren't given a choice of 2 beds or not, they gave us a king size bed, which was okay but that wasn't what we wanted,”

• Good security, firm mattress and pillows, good coffee.
• Elevator was out of order entire stay. Had to walk up and down stairs.

• Kitchen & separate living room were a big plus for us.
• Room shook when guests would shut doors or run down hall or in room above.

“This motel has some good features but they are outweighed by the bad ones unfortunately. The kitchen & separate living room are a great layout for people traveling with children and are basically the only real plus. However, the quality of the building is terrible. The room would literally shake like an earthquake when another guest would shut a door or the people upstairs would walk across the room. Things were not very clean in the room. The desk clerk could not name a single restaurant for us to go to in the immediate vicinity. And though there was a brochure for HBO, our TV only got Showtime (and there was no guide to what was on). When we checked out the desk clerk was rude in my opinion & told us we were not supposed to get the discount the manager gave us for our small upgrade (from a queen bed to 2 double beds for our baby to sleep in) & confronted him on this in front of us. If it were not for the kitchen and the layout, I would not consider staying here again.”

• The staff thought I checked out and gave a key so my room could be shown; I was still in the room.

• I liked the closeness to the function I was attending.
• The carpet was dirty, the bed was slanted, and the light in the bathroom was bad.

“Overall, it was okay. I have paid much less in Albuquerque for much nicer hotels. I was a little disappointed by that.”

• Kitchen very clean and very helpful staff.
• Bathroom was very dim and had always-on fan.

“This hotel delivered just what we needed for the cost. The staff was friendly and helpful, including helping us to check in for our airline online and print boarding passes the last day. Having a kitchen is always nice too. I would only wish for a brighter bathroom that let me decide then to turn on the fan.”
