“Excellent hotel. I would like to stay longer than one night and take advantage of their daytime activities.”

  • Beautiful.
  • Hidden $15 valet Parking Fee. Hidden $15 trail fee per day!

“The Resort was wonderful. Upon checking out we were surprised at the $15 per day valet parking fee (even though we tipped them) and the $15 per day trail. fee that we never used! They charge each guest this per day??? We live in NM and were offended that they tried to get away with this with us. No wonder they had to lay off several employees - who wants to stay in a place where they are charged for something that they don't get!”

  • The fitness center was great and included was free use of all the spa amenities. Excellent.
  • The Corn Maiden Restaurant was closed even though it was supposed to be open on tuesdays.

“Overall, excellent and a wonderful getaway for a family. The horse ride was great, the pools were amazing, and the hiking trail to the river was fun. Staff was friendly and professional. Grounds were beautiful. Many of the activities advertised were not available on the day we were there, so check in advance.”

  • My children liked the pool area and I liked the spa.
  • Some of the pillows had a hard uncomforting texture.

“Nice fancy and accommodating.”

  • Great atmosphere, relaxing, and very well kept.
  • The one thing I was not happy about was the young girl at events desk gave us incorrect information about the activities on two different occasions.

“Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful. What a great way to celebrate Easter with family. The movies, games, arcade room, and of course the Easter Bunny at the Easter egg hunt, were all awesome!”

  • I loved the spacious rooms with the views!
  • A little far to drive but worth it!

“Loved the place! Given I am from the area, it was a nice get away and the Spa is fantastic! This was the first time my husband and I got a room and it was great! I would book another one again! Staff was very friendly and the hotel was not crowded. Very nice! The bike rides were great too! Loved it!”

  • Leaving.
  • The small beds and unhelpful staff.

“The hotel is way overpriced. They have small double beds and charge a "Resort" fee on top of the room rate which they could not explain.”

  • Staff professional and friendly, Spa especially lovely and complete offerings.
  • Leisure tax, local tax, automatic service charge of 20% all added to hotel bill. Want lower fees.

“All was as hoped for 20% gratuity always auto. Added, would like to decide gratuity based on my experience, not by their expectation. Room fine, dining fine, staff fine. Would highly recommend.”

  • There are plenty of things to do with out leaving the hotel. Restaurants, swimming pools, spa, exercise room.
  • The self parking area is quite a distance from the lobby. The shuttle will pick you up but it is inconsistent.

“I would recommend this hotel for a family or romantic get away. Very clean, the staff is very helpful and the overall condition of the hotel is excellent.”

  • The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient.
  • The distance from the lobby to my room was. 5min

“My fiance and I had an amazing weekend at the Tamaya. The location is far from the main road and the views from either side of the hotel are fantastic. If you have a choice, I would recommend the mountain view. Free shuttles are available to take you to and from the casino, a short distance away. The bed was heavenly, and room service meals were good. Try the poached egg/spinach dish. The sandwiches were fair, go for the pizza instead. Don't miss out on the outside waterfall hot tub.”

  • The food is always good, it's peaceful and smells great.
  • That valet parking is $15 even for overnight guests. For the high price of a room valet parking should be included.
