“We walk upstairs to our room which was along a very dirty carpet. Our room was hot and stuffy and when we turned on the AC unit there was a continual very loud rattling noise and little to no air coming out of the fan on high setting. There were Q tips stuck in the grill. One of the beds made a loud noise whenever anyone sat or moved on it. The bathroom door would not close or latch as the door did not line up with the other side of the door jam. The shower faucet and spigot were loose from the wall and wiggled when turning on the water and the shower stall creaked when you moved or stood in it. There were large cigarette burn holes in both bedspreads. The clerk told us the beds were Queens but were actually only double size (my husbands feet hung off the end). Then a few minutes later we received a call from the same clerk stating this was a courtesy call to welcome us to the hotel and see if everything was alright. When we stated that we were the people who had just spoken to her about problems with the room she went very quiet. The breakfast offerings were sparse, only one choice of cereal and they ran out of milk at 8:30 AM (breakfast went till 9 AM). The stairway down to breakfast was covered with lint and dirt. We asked for the maintenance to come and repair our AC unit. The clerk told us that usually no one was around to take care of issues on the weekends but that they would get someone to come in at 4 PM. They also said there were a lot of issues to be fixed. We overheard many customers complaining at breakfast and on check-out about the pool not working. Some had been told it would be fixed before their stay ended while others had been told it would take weeks. The pool had water in it but the bottom was full of flaking paint.”

“The hotel itself was nice and served my purpose. The breakfast was not very good - some apples, bread, juice and coffee. No cereal or anything extra. I ate somewhere else.”
