• The staff was amazing. The free shuttle service came in handy.
• The price was a bit too high.

• It was conveniently located to the upper mall area with food and drink. Shuttle is awesome.

“Stayed there for the Jazz Aspen Snowmass festival this past August 2008. I expected a much larger room, separate shower/tub and maid service daily. We had to call for the maid and took out our own trash. We were placed in the farthest corner of the hotel for some reason or another with a great view of the retaining wall outside. Food was killer though.”

• Liked the location surrounded by mountains.
• Some of the hotel staff tried to steal from our room.

“Overall experience good. Some of the hotel staff, mainly those who clean the rooms or some of the other workers other than the front desk took some items out of our refrigerator and took it for themselves. My wife and I caught this and asked for them to return it. Which they did. They said they had made a mistake.”

• Good size room.
• No air conditioning, noisy staff.

“The hotel and room are great for the price. However, the lack of air conditioning meant leaving the windows open all the time and the staff would empty glass bottles in the trash at 12:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. interfering with sleep. Furthermore, the hotel was just too hot without better ventilation or cooling.”

• The kitchen was well equipped we enjoyed the fireplace with complimentary firewood.
• The bathrooms were pretty small and the beds in the second bedroom were small for our group.

“We had a hard time finding the right place to check-in but once we found it we were happy with the accommodations. We would stay there again.”

• It was great to have a full kitchen available.
• Could not figure out how to make the shower work.

“It was cozy, comfortable, and close to hiking trails. There was a small man made waterfall outside our window, which was wonderful to listen to at night. The two (pretty big) caveats were a lack of doorknobs on the bathroom door, and the inability to make the shower work. If we had been planning to stay more than one night, we would have reported that to the management.”

• In the mountains/ rustic feel.
• Construction woke us up early on a Saturday.

“We liked the townhouse. Very cozy and comfortable. Swimming pool was closed but we were able to use the pool at nearby hotel. Very disappointed that the construction next door woke us up early on sat morning.”

• Beautiful! This is god's country! Jazz fest, hot air balloons and wine tasting - this place is not just a winter wonderland!
• Restaurants and shops are limited in the summer months.

“Had a very relaxing time. The slope-side condo was very warm and cozy. Snowmass village shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. Very close to aspen, Carbondale, Glenwood, maroon bells, and independence pass - one of the most scenic roads in Colorado!”

• Rooms were very nice.
• Unacceptable level of sound deadening between floors.

“Our getaway was almost destroyed by the neighbors above our room, 205, who banged on the floor till nearly 4:00 a.m. And caused my wife to be unable to sleep until about then. There was not 24 hour staff present, and it was not clear how to get assistance. This stay was unacceptable, and a refund would have been appropriate.”

• Beautiful view, nice staff, beautiful room.
• Not the hotel, did not list the Name of our hotel on our info. Hard to locate hotel.

“We enjoyed our hotel. We would return. We had a studio with a full kitchen and fireplace. We had the most beautiful view of the mountains.”
