“Maybe put people away from outside noise, especially if the hotel is relatively empty. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves & the convenience factor of being near mountain biking trails, shops, restaurants & usage of the bus lines.”

“Bed was comfy, nice amenities and a free breakfast every morning. One drawback for me is that I'm a light sleeper and the rooms were not sound proofed at all, so you could hear everyone around you at night and in the morning.

“Very nice hotel. We enjoyed the restaurant and the nice landscaping around the pool and outdoor patio. The room was nice and quiet. A little small, but it worked just fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The also gave us a free upgrade on the room when we got there.”

“This hotel is in a nice location and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice but you can here everything outside of your room. At 2 am this can be very disturbing. Also the beds were uncomfortable.”

“We recently stayed at the Stonebridge Inn for 2 nights in August. The staff was young, but helpful and courteous. Plenty of maps and pamphlets available in the lobby. There were a couple issues which I'll address in a minute. We liked the layout of the room, which was good size. High ceilings, ceiling fan (no AC), very comfortable king bed and a refrigerator. We found the room to be clean and relaxing. I'm never crazy about paying for the internet, the rate here is $10 for a 24 hour period. There are free use of computers in the lobby. The rest of the hotel was easy to navigate. Nice bar area that led out to an outdoor deck. Decent size outdoor pool. I thought the hotel blended in fine with the other condominiums in Snowmass Village. It was also a short walk to the mall area. The first evening we arrived with rainy weather, so we stayed in and ate at the Artisan Restaurant on site. In fact, the seating area is connected to the bar. The food was somewhat pricey, but was a satisfying meal. I had the NY Strip Steak and my wife had the Halibut. There are sandwiches on the menu if one wants to downsize their meal and cost. The complimentary continental breakfast is definitely recommended. They had an assortment of real fresh fruit that included cantaloupe, honey dew, grapefruit and oranges. All sliced for easy consumption. I enjoyed the selection of cereal. Finally a continental breakfast that has genuine granola cereal. Something different from the usual Kellogg's single servings. They also provided fresh breads including banana bread that was very good. There were 3 issues I found with the Stonebridge. First, since there is no AC and the window is wide open at night, things can get a little noisy in the street. It's obvious that most have partaken in a few beverages. During our stay, the AC really wasn't need.”

“Beautiful European style hotel. Wonderful staff, delicious serve yourself breakfast in one of the most beautiful places in the world! Pool and hot tub were lovely at night and close to the laundry. Snowmass was much quieter than Aspen and a great place to relax.”

“Close to Aspen and well located in Snowmass. Excellent restaurant and facilities. The rooms have a lodge feel and are quite attractive with photos of skiers from days gone by. Very friendly service. I would return to this hotel.”

“I was very pleased with the overall experience at the hotel. But I think that the hotel does a disservice to its guests by asking them to pay for what inexpensive motels offer for free. Also, a few signs along the road leading to the hotel would have been helpful.”

“We stayed at the Stonebridge Inn while traveling for the 4th of July weekend; it was my wife and I, and two children ages 2 and 6. The overall atmosphere was very inviting, and very comfortable. As always, the surrounding mountains of Aspen and Snowmass do lend to the overall beauty of the location! The rooms were nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. I thought the lack of air conditioning was actually quite refreshing. It was nice to fall asleep to the sounds of the night, with a cool breeze coming in the window. I would stay here again, with or without the children.”

“The condition of the women's locker room was filthy. The fitness room smelled really bad, like 50 boys were sweating in there. One of the hot tubs did not work and neither did the sauna. Other than that everything was fine.”

“Our weekend was supposed to be a romantic getaway from the kids for the first time. The hotel wasn't romantic, although we did have a good view of the mountains. The bed was awful! Neither of us slept and the hotel had nothing better, according to them. The covers on the bed were ugly and old. The TV wasn't even hooked up when we got there and we had to have someone come fix it. The remotes in the room did not even work the TV, so we had to keep getting up to turn the channels and adjust the volume. The shower had the lowest water pressure I have ever experienced and the tub was old. The water temperature in the shower kept swinging on it's own from cold to hot and back again extreme temperature changes! There was no ice machine anywhere except one on a different floor! There was no ice bucket in the room and when we asked for one, they brought us a water pitcher filled with ice. The continental breakfast was awful and included fruit that needed to be cut, but there were no knives. Tomatoes were cut up with nothing to eat them with. Yogurt that was warm! There were no bread products. Flies were buzzing all around the food too. I went to the restaurant to order dessert and take it to our room, since there was no room service, and I was basically given something different that wasn't described on the menu. It was basically pieces of Ciabatta bread with Nutella spread on it and nuts on the top. It was awful. There wasn't any sort of store or conveniences either. We needed some throat lozenges and they had no way for us to purchase them and they told us that the only store in town closed an hour before. Overall our experience was not what we expected nor paid for. We overpaid on the rate of the room!”
