• There were bees around our car only in the parking lot, told the day desk person, her reply was "it's that time of year" What if I was allergic.

• It had been updated.
• Our room and parking space backed up to unpleasant surroundings.

• Easy access to most things in the area.
• We had to go up stairs for our room and that can be hard when hauling luggage etc.

“It was clean with comfortable beds. It was close to the things we wanted to do.”

• Liked the location! Facilities - hot tub after traveling for hours and nice, clean sheets!
• We had a good room location near the pool. Other rooms did not look as desirable as far as location.

“Enjoyed the hotel because of the downtown location, near the shops and an excellent restaurant. We were looking for some comfort after camping for a week!”

• The people were friendly and were in a good location.
• Tub did not drain, no tissue, the door was open when we got there to the room.

“No tissue in the boxes and when we went to check into the room the door was wide open.”

• Tight parking, near train track, 2 doors into the room, not very clean.

• The pool/spa area was nice.
• Service was bad, room not clean, loud, double charged.

“The room was not clean; the prior guests had left rose petals on the floor which was still there when we arrived. The room had a gap between the door and door jam, it was very loud. Traffic traveling down the street, etc. It sounded as though we had a window open. When people would go out and start their cars, our room would fill up with an exhaust smell. We were very disappointed in our stay and service.”

• Clean room, bed and bath rooms.
• The complementary breakfast was not very good.

“The room on the second floor was spacious and clean. The queen sized bed was very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area and historic part of Sheridan, Wyoming and in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. There is an indoor pool, which would be great for families with kids, although we did not use it.”

• Breakfast was great! Unusual to find a complete, hot, complimentary breakfast.
• Couldn't find an elevator to the second floor. Right next to a train track.

“Clean, comfortable, room with nice balcony. The complimentary breakfast was awesome! Unfortunately, our room was right next to a train track and the trains traveled all night long. The hotel is set-up poorly for handicapped. Couldn't find an elevator and the doors were very heavy.”

• Had a nice breakfast that was included with the room price.
• Too noisy and room located near an alley.

“My room was directly across an alley from the local Dairy Queen drive-thru, and I could hear orders being taken until late into the evening -- even with all of the windows closed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was what I would expect for a 2-star hotel. Had a microwave, refrigerator, and all the usual amenities. Next time, however, I would look for something away from downtown Sheridan.”

• Price, location, breakfast buffet.
• Room smelled strongly of smoke.

“Even though our room was non-smoking, it smelled strongly of smoke. They would not switch us to another room. The newer wing of the hotel is much nicer. We were in the older wing. Door also barely locked - looks like it had been tampered with.”

“I thought this hotel was over-priced for the facility. The room was comfortable, but after worrying about the air conditioner compressor until we finally turned it off at 3:00 a.m., I was disappointed.”

• Room was clean, in town, near stores, good restaurant nearby, Buffalo Bill's frequented inn.
• Air conditioner did not work very well, separate hotel buildings on adjacent streets.

“The hotel was clean and adequate for a nights stay, town is cute and (Buffalo Bill's frequented Inn) restaurant has good food and nostalgic.”

“Very disappointed. Given a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. Given another room that the AC did not work well in. It never felt cool all night long. Hot tub across street 2 streets from our room.”
