  • We liked watching the train go by.
  • Put us in non-smoking/moved us 3 times and still put us in non-smoking.

“They put us in a non-smoking room, even thought I booked smoking. Told us it was OK to smoke in there but never brought us an ashtray. Next day the new rec. said we had to move. Packed up all our stuff to go to another room which we waited over 1/2 hour and found people were still in that room. Then moved us to another room which ended up being non-smoking anyway. All that and still ended up in non-smoking. So they told us to smoke in there. It was a fiscal.”

  • The Continental breakfast was good. It was convenient to town.
  • Someone had broken a bottle in the pool and my granddaughter cut her foot on a piece of glass. Luckily it was a minor cut but could have been worse.

“The hotel was outdated, carpet in bad shape, and dark. The Continental breakfast was good but the rooms need more supervised cleaning. There was no coffee maker in the room.”

  • The location was great - good scenery.
  • The rooms were old and in need of repair - air conditioning, water drainage, dirty carpet, etc.

“The potential of this hotel is great, but it needs repairs. The air conditioning was poor in one room. After we moved the shower drainage was slow in another room. The carpet was dirty in both rooms. The breakfast was limited in selection but well stocked.”
