• Happy hour in the bar was good with food included.
• Very old, AC doesn't work in most the hotel. Many of the rooms are not updated.

“This hotel is quite old. At a previous stay, my room was updated and seemed clean, but the AC did not work. The hotel staff moved me to a room where the AC worked, but he room was not updated and wasn't as clean. At my most recent stay the room I was first given was not clean, AC didn't work, it had not been updated and for a non smoking room it smelled of stale smoke. Happy hour is one of the better points about this hotel. They include food like sandwiches, pizza, etc and have a good selection of drinks along with fair prices. The Breakfast bar is included and they will make your eggs to order.”

• Microwave & refrigerator in room.
• It is beginning to look run down. It needs to be upgraded.

“There was not a lamp on the bedside table, The desk did not have a chair. The bathtub was scarred. The walls had seen better days. The staff was very prompt and friendly. I have stayed in better quality rooms at this hotel in the past.”

• The front desk staff was rude and not helpful.

“Rude not courteous staff. Pool and game room was closed off from quests because of a wedding that was going on.”

• Being close to the Riverwalk for relaxing and exercise.
• Noisy, security lock broken, desk staff not real friendly.

“This hotel did not meet the price. Carpets were dirty, it was noisy. The single easy chair was very uncomfortable.”

• Nothing!
• Wouldn't let us request a non-smoking king size bed and gave us a room that was on maintenance for no air conditioning, we did not end up staying.

“Absolutely the poorest and most unfriendly place that I've ever stayed at!”

• The location was exactly what I was looking for.
• It seemed too in closed.

• Lounge/bar on premise. Nice restaurant, Clean.
• Cold water at 10:00 am in the shower.

“Nice location, friendly Karaoke bar on Friday night. Huge atrium that would be a great place to have a wetting or reception.”

• It was convenient.
• For 3-star hotel, the rooms looked like a Motel 6. Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes.

“The staff was not friendly. When I checked in, the staff looked at me like I was bothering her. As soon as I started going into the hallway to my room, I could already smell the cigarettes. Although I received a non-smoking room and was on the third floor, my room smelled of cigarettes and was very muggy. The room was spacious, but looked much run down. The beds were so low to the ground and I could tell the mattress were old. Also, the linens were old and was hesitant to sleep on the bed. I was afraid the linens were not washed. Overall, I was very disappointed in the room and the staff. I will not be staying here again.”

“Family-friendly with in-room movies, room service pizza and Nintendo for the kids. Linens and showers could stand a little improvement.”

• The swimming pool area was great clean and well kept.
• The hotel is getting older, and showing its age rusty sinks, holes in blankets, etc.

“We enjoyed it but may chose to stay at a newer hotel next time.”

“The hotel is getting more than a little run-down. The room was not very clean nor well maintained. The air-conditioned didn't work, was noisy and leaked water.”

“Our room was so dirty - needs paint, new furniture, new carpet, new ventilation system. It was terrible - nothing was right our entire stay and housekeeping did not vacuum our entire 5 day stay.”

• The exercise room was very poorly maintained and dirty.

“For Farmington nm this motel is certainly above average. That said the customer service was poor with staff more interested in relating to each other than helping clients. While linen was clean and the room appeared clean the exercise room was not at all well maintained. The room was very large but very sparsely furnished and decorated. It is a good place to stay if on business or visiting family locally when it only serves as a place to sleep.”

• One member of the staff was helpful when we had a flat tire he helped me get things taken care of.
• The room smelled awful! Cigarette mixed with must.

“The room smelled awful! It was a mixture of cigarette smell and a musty smell. We asked to change rooms and they wouldn't move us even though we arrived early in the afternoon, they said that they had no more rooms available. Later in the night we saw several people check in.”

• Location was convenient.
• Run down called police because of fight & drunks.

“The room was run down there were rolls of carpeting in the halls but no hint of work being done. I had to call the front lobby to call law enforcement because of loud drunk yelling obscenities, threatening people, slamming doors and hitting the walls. You would have thought an apology from the staff would come but when I brought it up when checking out, they didn't seem concerned about it. I would not stay at this particular hotel again.”
