• Location.
• Dishonest staff.

“Dishonest staff and owners. We booked a historic room months in advance of our arrival in Cody. When we arrived we were told our room had water damage and they were moving us to their other hotel, The Antler Inn. We told them this was not acceptable. They finally gave us a room in the new section. The next morning we learned they rented our room to someone else. As we toured the hotel, there was not any evidence of water damage anywhere. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• We liked this hotel because of the price and it's historical significance.
• Staff was not at all personable or helpful.

“Great location in historic Cody. Historical factor is a definite plus. Naturally older may be neat but not necessarily better than today's hotels as far as convenience. But the dining room and historical bar were excellent.”

• Good friendly bar and restaurant and old western style theme.
• Check in time.

“We had to wait about 30 minutes to get checked in as there was only one girl on duty and she was also working in the restaurant.”

• The charm and ambiance of how it fit into the area.
• There wasn't anything we didn't like.
