• The suite was fabulous. Large and love the set-up.

“Beautiful grounds, spacious suites and very quiet. Lovely updated rooms with all conveniences. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.”

• Friendly staff, beautiful golf course, beautiful scenery.
• Cell phones were not allowed to be used in the hotel's public areas.

“The hotel was very nice. I wasn't expecting an additional $25 per night resort fee when I got there - so that was somewhat disappointing. I was not allowed to use my cell phone in the hotel's public areas which caused some inconvenience for the business purpose for which I was traveling. There were however, lots of amenities, including a golf course, pro shop, full work out facility, tennis courts and spa. The bar and grill had great food and beer!! Beautiful views everywhere!!”

• Luxury resort atmosphere
• First room we were given had problems that were quickly rectified with a new room.

“This facility is well priced for the level of the hotel. Clean with very comfortable beds. Surroundings are luxurious and met expectations for privacy and quite.”

• It was beautiful inside and especially outside. The scenery was GREAT.
• It did not have a hot tub that you could sit in with your spouse. There was access to one at a nearby hotel. Which you could be shuttled to.

• The staff accommodated for their mistakes upon our check in.
• Our check in was messed up even when we called ahead of time.

“We like the location of Ventana Canyon and this was our first stay at the Lodge. They
crammed us into a smaller room and moved us into the bigger room the next day. I will say they made up for it by giving us a credit on room for 1 night and offering us a free breakfast. So they made up for our hassle, but it was still a hassle having to switch rooms with children.”

• Beautiful grounds & walking paths around the golf course for those who don't golf.
• Handicap bathroom would have liked regular bathroom but view from room made up for it.

“Very beautiful grounds and great walking path around the golf course for those who don't golf but would enjoy the outdoors. Our room was clean but kitchen was outdated & note in dishwasher not to use figured it was broken. We had handicap bathroom asked about that but no other available but did have great view of mountains from our room that made up for lack of regular bathroom.”
