Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Easily accessible.
  • Numerous troubles with the room.

“The hotel was going through renovations, however in a newly renovated room the air conditioner did not work properly, the closet doors did not open, the dresser doors did not shut all the way and the cleaning was not done thoroughly.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Rooms were newly decorated and well appointed.
  • Air conditioner did not work right. Very warm in room and humid.

“Great warm cookies and a cordial staff. Hotel is being remodeled and the rooms are very nice. Construction debris was noticed but not an issue with the overall cleanliness of the rooms. We had to have the room checked due to the air not working correctly. Set the thermometer to 60 but the room was still warm and humid. Suited my wife fine, though.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Love the room decor and bathroom products.
  • Construction with loud banging started before 7 am!

“When compared to the Sheraton on Grant Road, this Doubletree surely wins. It might be an older building, but they've done a really nice job decorating the rooms and common areas. Get a high floor room for spectacular views. I'd recommend this hotel.”

  • The best is when I checked out and left.
  • The entire experience with the hotel made my trip difficult.

“The staff was rude.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[10]

  • There was one friendly man up at lobby door who gave my turn by turn directions to our destinations.
  • Rude staff. Front desk and maids.

“First of all we turned our AC on to 60, which is the coldest setting, left and returned 4 hours later. The room was still hot. Called front desk, rude woman answer and said she was sending maintenance up. Had to call again 1 hour later because no one had come. Then his solution was a fan. Called front desk for 6 towels and a maid came with 3. The floors were dirty. My ironing board was broke. The iron leaked. The toilet paper roll holder was broke. Parking was horrible. I have stayed at other Double Tree hotels and have never been treated this way. As if I was bothering them. I do not recommend this Branch in Tucson, AZ.”

  • Nicely remodeled rooms.

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Very helpful and friendly staff.
  • Walkway to pool from room was unclear.

“This was a great hotel with a great pool, which in Tucson was very important for family harmony. The kids loved the warm complimentary cookies they received on check in and we all had a great time!”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • The rooms were very comfortable, attractively decorated.
  • They were doing remodeling, which detracted from the overall attractiveness.

“The room came with coffee-maker and coffee that was not replenished when the housekeeper came. My first nights sleep came to a very unpleasant end when remodelers started work at about 7 o'clock am on a room about 30 feet away. To their credit, hotel staff was very helpful when I asked to be relocated. I don't think it was there when I checked in but saw a notice about the remodeling when I checked out.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[4] • Location:[6]

  • Location, pool.
  • Lack of working air conditioning.

“The lack of working air conditioning in the room; yes, maintenance was sent; no, it never improved; no offer of a new room until my early checkout.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Cool pool, very child friendly, gave us cookies every night.
  • A guest knocked on my door at 2 in the morning (went to wrong room).

“Solid hotel right next to Reid park. For you runners, has a nice 3.2 loop to run around golf course (day or night). Pool is fun for kids. The hotel even provides floating rafts for guest. Hope to stay there again next visit to Tucson.”

  • The room was clean and the hotel grounds were beautifully landscaped.

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[7]

  • The price & the room decor.
  • The area around the poll was coming apart & terrible to walk on. also I expected a fridge in the room.

“Pleasant enough but in need of repair. We were in the older section. Right over the workshop area & across from the pet walking area. Noisy & aromatic. With a view of the nearby apartment complex. The room itself was lovely and the windows open yet!”

  • The dining facilities and personnel were very accommodating.
