  • Spacious, friendly staff, quiet, and secure.
  • Had to walk by the maintenance/refuse area to get to room.

“Would recommend to golf travelers for northern Tucson. Need a car. No stores or restaurants within walking distance.”

  • Beautiful scenery.
  • The walls were way too thin. I could hear people talk all night next door.

“I found this hotel to be in a beautiful setting but the room itself was just like any other lower star room. Nothing special to distinguish itself from others that I have stayed in. I could hear everything said in the room next to me and the shower faucet made an annoying whining sound as I took a shower.”

  • The staff was very helpful in meeting our needs. The room was clean, and attractive. Grounds beautiful.
  • Can't think of anything.

“This hotel was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful. The pool was clean, and was set up for not only lounging, but also fun like volleyball nets, games, our older children had a wonderful time. The staff at the hotel met all of our needs in a timely manner. I would give this hotel my business again.”

  • Big rooms.
  • Dark around grounds.

“Great hotel, great staff. Restaurants and shopping nearby.”

  • Very scenic, staff friendly.
  • Water temp in spa not hot enough.

“Nce place.”

  • The resort was fabulous. The employee at the desk greeted me by name and said they were waiting for us to check in. He was great!
  • There wasn't anything we didn't like. The food was a little pricey.

“The grounds were well kept, the staff was very friendly and the overall experience was very enjoyable. We would love to stay again for a more extended visit.”

  • Decor, setting, spacious, and was secluded.
  • Inconvenient parking, noisy air conditioning unit and there was
    no microwave in the room.

“Very friendly staff with outstanding customer service. However the room's was not kept air conditioned so in our 100 plus degree weather it took a while to cool off the room, and it was a buzz kill to enter a hot room. We wanted a king size bed and were not given one despite several requests. There was no microwave unit in the room. The room was tidy but not exactly clean, especially the bath tub. The AC solenoid was extremely noisy and kept waking us up through the night. Parking was limited and very inconvenient as the units are a large distance away through steep walkways. The room decor was modern, quiet and elegant. The hotel is nestled right against majestic mountains which provides a unique backdrop and beautiful setting.”

  • Stables, dining facilities.
  • Some parts looked a little tired.

“Excellent experience - would recommend a little more attention to the upkeep details.”

  • Laid back atmosphere and comfort.
  • Only dining options on site were pricey.

“The resort is friendly and eager to please with comfort and beauty in mind. The Dos Locos restaurant (Latin fusion) is overpriced as my meat was overcooked and tough.”

  • Quiet and comfortable surroundings. Peaceful for a relaxed stay.

“I really enjoy staying at this hotel. It is near my parents house so it is conveniently located. We like to walk and it is a great place to walk around. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.”

  • The room was nice and spacious. I found it very comforting.
  • They charge for in-room internet connections.

“I really enjoyed our stay. We originally reserved one night, but we liked the property so well that we added a second night. The one draw back was the somewhat noisy person in the room above us. The rooms could use better insulation.”

  • Rooms were clean and comfortable.

“Hotel was located in a very scenic area. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Our only complaint was that our breakfast choices were very limited.”

  • Ground were beautiful, in a very safe area North of Tucson.
  • Bed was very comfortable and new, the carpets did look very worn and the bathtub leaked.

“Very nice resort located in the Ora Valley, North of Tucson (unfortunately the area is now a suburb with the housing and shopping mall sprawl). The hotel has a great swimming pool, small, cute kiddy pool and a small water slide. You’re in a gorgeous surrounding when sitting around the pool with lush landscape and a pretty view of the mountains. There is a golf course, tennis courses and a fitness facility on site. Hilton has canceled their resort fee charges and you pay as you use them instead of everyone paying the $20 per day resort fee. To use the fitness center was $10 a day.”

  • The scenery around the resort was beautiful and the rooms were very nice.
  • There was nothing to dislike!

“Great place to get away for a beautiful weekend I only wish we could have stayed for more than one night.”

  • Large rooms, beautiful mountain views.
  • Rooms are a little worn.

“Beautiful resort hotel for golfers and tennis players looking to play in sunny weather during the winter. The hotel is beginning to show signs of wear and would benefit from a remodel in the near future.”

  • The grounds and mountain view are spectacular; the staff was most cordial & accommodating.
  • Charging for internet is so '90s; breakfast buffet is way too expensive.

“One of the nicest places in Arizona; exquisite. I think they charge extra for routine amenities, and discourage the bringing in of outside food and drink, just to keep away the riffraff (I guess that would be me). Maybe that's good, maybe not.”

  • The cleanliness of the room’s décor with white beds linens and robes.
  • Parking.

“This was a beautiful hotel with lots of amentias and beautiful views. I regret we did not get to enjoy the large pool or the hot and cold Jacuzzis; however they were open 24 hours. It was truly a resort for the guest in mind.”

  • Concert on the grass.
  • Just installed large flat screen in room and didn't work till I checked out.

  • Views are phenomenal!
  • Carpet, trim, wall coverings - a bit drab and dated.

“The views, pool, grounds were fantastic! However, this is more of a family hotel, expect your hair to be all messed up by the kids jumping in the pool. The floors and trim, wallpaper/paint all seemed a bit dated. The hotel is very clean, nice beds, nice bathrooms, I like the toiletries except for the shear butter kind of weird soap. However, they could clean the pools a tad more often. Great price and very safe for kids, good security. I swam at 1 am and felt safe. Lobby is very nice, staff was extremely nice, friendly, care about customers!”

  • Rooms need updating. Power outages all night long one night.

“Good value for the price. This property is not a 4 star resort. Whole facility showing signs of age and need updating. I will probably go out of my way to avoid this hotel in the future.
