“Very nice accommodations. Very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed having to pay for internet service and that it did not work that well (kept going in and out). Restaurant was friendly, but their service was sub-par and the food was overpriced for what you received.”

“The hotel is spacious, beautiful, and elegant similar to another of our favorite, the Embassy Suites. The lobby, restaurant, cocktail lounge, exercise room & gift shop are all located on the first floor surrounded by the rooms all lined up in a circular design. Superb location adjacent to the downtown area, eateries and shops all accessible by walking, trolley car, shuttle, and other transportation modes. Very clean and tidy hotel. Very friendly personnel. Great breakfast!”

“The location was walking distances from many dinning choices. The staff was friendly and attentive. The fitness room was good for a Hotel Gym. Self parking was not as clear as it could have been. A supposed upscale, business traveler friendly Hotel should have better parking and free internet access.”

“The hotel itself is really beautiful, unfortunately it is right on AZ University campus. We were extremely disappointed that the hotel did not offer free internet access, you have to pay for it. My husband had business to attend to online and he had to go to an on campus cafe to connect for free. For this caliber of hotel it she offer free internet access to guests, all of the other hotels that we stayed at during our 2 week trip offered it and this was a let down.”

“Our trip was great, the hotel made it comfortable for us. We loved having coffee in the lobby every morning. The hotel was in a very nice location for us. The college campus was nice for us to see also. All in all we had a very good time.”

“There is a charge of $11 a day for parking, that seemed high. The hot tub and exercise room were very nice. It would have been nice to have some kind of social hour or happy hour in the hotel bar area. Understand the charge for Wi-Fi connection in the room but most hotels have free Wi-Fi if you go to the lounge/coffee shop area. The proximity to the areas we wanted to visit was a nice benefit. The rooms were well kept except the beds were uncomfortable, the TV did not work, and the toilet took at least 10 minutes to fill up which seemed slow to us.”

“Parking was not convenient. It was across the street and cost $11 a day. Valet parking was offered but was more expensive. You had to unload baggage before going to parking garage. When leaving you needed to get vehicle and park in front to load vehicle up. It was all very inconvenient.”

“They don't allow pets. The parking is in the Arizona University garage. The hotel charges $22.00 a day for parking. They didn't tell me that parking was upstairs on 2nd floor for Marriott. They told me to go in the visitor area. I got a $25.00 parking violation ticket. They charge $9.95 a day for wireless internet access which I think is wrong. They charged $1.00 for every local call. La Quinta and others don't charge for local calls. I tried to extend my stay for 1 day due to business changes and they advised that I would have to pay $279.00 for the extra night. That is incredible for the quality of the rooms.”
