“A five star resort, beautiful grounds and facilities, down to a real fitness center with lap pool, nice tennis courts, and nature trails in the rural desert area. A great pool with an outdoor bar, a fantastic restaurant and lounge. The room was luxurious and well appointed, staff is all friendly and helpful. A great value for the money.”

“Everything was wonderful, I wish we had closer parking to our room. Our room was a little offset from the parking area. However, the sidewalks were easily accessible. One thing I did not like was being charge extra a resort fee, even though it was only $12.00, it makes me cautious of what we choose next time. I felt that we would have a hidden cost if we even watched TV. We also felt that kids were not welcomed, there were a lot of older adults, which would be reasonable because it was a resort. However, we just kept the kids quiet and respectful of others.”

“Westward Look has spacious newly renovated rooms with sitting areas. Small 2 story buildings arranged on large resort site with pools, spas, horse-back riding, walking trails with labeled desert landscaping like a botanical garden. Friendly staff. Met 2 other parties there for old friends reunion. Sitting areas, patios and balconies perfect for get-togethers, as well as restaurant and public patios. Beautiful views of mountains.”

“Great natural Sonoran desert surroundings, inviting small library with real wood-burning fire going for those chilly days. There for a tennis tournament so nice to have ample courts available.”

“This resort was a great experience for me, no stress or worry. Location was great, view was superb, and the bed was wonderful. As a single person, I felt very safe. The food and staff was very good in service and quality.”

“We have stayed in multiple resorts in Tucson and this was by far the worst. First they said that will accommodate us adjoining rooms and when we arrived they said the rooms were adjoining. They were not! In fact the other room was in the next building. The manager explained that maybe we could be moved the next day and there was a suite we could look at 1 bed, 1 pullout sofa (for 2 adults and 3 teenagers) not acceptable. Went back and somehow the manager found us adjoining rooms at the pool. The rooms are ancient and definitely need to be redone especially the bathrooms. They all had slanted ceilings like something from the 70s. Asked three times to have the television repaired and no one every came. I appreciate the fact that we were moved, but why couldn't this have been done the first time? The pool is tiny and the rooms near the pool are almost in the pool. On a good note it is close to shopping and restaurants, but then again so are a lot of the other adequate resorts!”

“Grounds are beautiful. The beds we had were really bad, almost unspeakable. They sagged like a hammock. The good news is that they appear to be remodeling and replacing all beds.”

“There are many nice resorts in the area. I would choose one of them. I will not go back to the Westward Look again. I do plan on returning to AZ next year.”

“Well appointed, beautiful grounds and excellent restaurant. Our first room was not clean, lacked many of the amenities and it uncomfortable and outdated. We contacted the staff and asked for a change in room. They were very accommodating, providing us a larger and cleaner room. Our stay was lovely, but the rooms are outdated.”

“I was disappointed in the quality of this resort. The rooms were outdated, the remote on the TV didn't work, the air conditioning was temperamental. Either too hot or too cold. We ate dinner at the gold room. Presentation of the meals were beautiful! However, the chicken was tough and the short ribs were dry and hard. On the bright side, staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, I didn't feel that this lived up to the quality of resorts I have stayed with in the past.”

“This hotel is in the midst of a major upgrade, which did not interfere with our visit. Public spaces have been upgraded, and are very lovely. The grounds are well-kept. The rooms have not been upgraded yet. Once that's done, this will be a very lovely place to stay. In particular, the mattresses was way too old/soft, and the bathtub area was showing it's age. Also, we could hear a lot of noise from the room above ours one night. So, an upper-floor room would be best. We had a nice breakfast at the restaurant one day, and the staff was all quite friendly. There was a baby owl perched in a palm tree near our room, and the mama owl was in the next tree. Everyone was taking photos of this.”
