  • Great breakfast selection at no charge.
  • Bathroom not clean, beer cans in the hallway.

“Looks like they are making upgrades. Bathroom was nice but had to call and have it cleaned after check-in. Did not feel safe!”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The bed and pillows.
  • Appearance of elevator and hallway were old, dated.

“The hotel looks good from the outside, but once inside the elevator and hallways is old looking and needs to be updated. Elevator looked unsafe. The room also is old and needs work. My toilet was stained and needs to be replaced. Shower was dripping. But the bed and pillows were new and felt great. Free breakfast was tasty, and free internet access was nice.”

  • It is a great property it needs renovations and updates.
  • Tired and worn out furnishings, carpet, lacking in cleanliness, elevator on the brink of falling apart greasy carpet, gross paneling it just is in bad.

“Do not stay here it is one of the worst hotels we've stayed in ever. Lacking in clean environment, old and worn out furnishings and gross. Someone needs to be fired!”

  • The smell of the orange trees outside my room.
  • The grounds were a bit untidy.

“Great facility, near major shopping areas, and restaurants. Enjoyed this hotel and would return in the future. Staff responsive to calls, and drinks at the bar very reasonable for a hotel bar.”

  • Pool and location for what I went there for.
  • Room was not maintained and had many problems.

“Hotel staff were great. Room was dirty and many things in the room did not work or had problems during normal operation. Pool and hot tub were great.”

  • The staff and mgr. patiently listened to my complaints.
  • It looked dirty right from the lobby, and had a stale smell. Customers were lined up complaining about service and cleanliness of rooms.

“The hotel appeared to be undergoing managerial and staffing problems. It was unclean, smelly, and uninviting to me. I had booked what I thought was a 4-star facility. I am a business traveler and expected higher standards. Due to my allergy to dust, I knew from the front door that I could not tolerate the level of cleanliness that was exhibited in this hotel. Additionally, as I stood waiting to check in, 4-5 people ahead of me were complaining that their rooms were dirty and in ill-repair: broken toilets, shower doors, unmade beds, etc. This level of service was deplorable. I did not stay there. The manager came out and talked with me and agreed to cancel my reservation. He did not give me a cancellation number.”

  • The layout - buildings, pool, and recreation area is good.
  • Police all over the place at 8:00 A.M arresting 4 people.

“The room was okay - could have been cleaner. Found frozen water bottle in freezer, empty water bottle behind nightstand. Dishes in dishwasher with old caked dish detergent. Bathroom floor not swept in corners. The staff was great, pool was great - a good family place to stay.”

  • Breakfast buffet was great.
  • Rowdy crowd at night kept us awake even after complaining.

“Did not feel they accommodated us after making a complaint about the noise knowing we were not the only ones who complained.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Very helpful front desk staff. Pleasant room. Easy location.
  • The floor of the bathtub was slightly chipped, and there was a dime-sized hole in the bathroom ceiling.

“The hotel was easy to locate from the highway. The front desk staff were very nice, and helpful in extending our stay an extra night. Having part of the gem and mineral show located at the hotel was fun. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • They tried hard with the amenities-breakfast was great, free internet service, great bed.
  • The hotel lobby looked bare and dirty and many things were much worn.

“The Inn suites at Tucson City Center are located near the Downtown area. It appears that this was once a very nice place to stay, but it has not been updated. While our accommodations were comfortable, many things in our room as well as around the hotel were very worn-looking. Our room had a new, very comfortable bed and that made it easier to overlook some of the other things-such as the bathtub. The hotel offered several nice amenities-which included a very nice breakfast and free internet service. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

  • The rooms are big. Very clean. Wonderful Pool. Great for kids, too.
  • No bacon for breakfast.

“The first room we got was terrible. The toilette didn't flush, the door didn't lock and the heater was smoking. But we got immediately another room. This room was wonderful!”

  • The grounds were well kept even in a windstorm.
  • Our bathroom had cracked ceiling plaster over the shower area.

“I actually loved this hotel. At the pool in the morning they have towels on the chairs folded nicely incase you did not bring one to the pool area. In the morning they have a breakfast buffet and not just muffins and cereal. It was wonderful. My children got to make their own waffles and eggs and ham were offered as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. . It was a great way to start the day. The staff was very attentive and quick to help. While we were in Tucson there was a large wind storm and the staff was out picking up Palm Frawns ASAP. Over all a+.”

  • The grounds themselves.
  • The sewage system.

“I found the hotel very hard to get to because of the construction on the highway in front of it, we were put in the wrong type room after arriving late at night and had to change rooms after arriving, the toilet did not work right and we had to call maintence the next morning they arrived in a timely manner the problem was not a 100% fix. All this made for a very mixed feelings experience.”
