“Clean, updated room. The mattresses were not of high quality, and the springs could be felt.”

“Too old, too small. Too noisy. We could hear people in the next room talking at normal levels. No parking.”

“This quaint hotel on part of the old Route 66 contained just what we needed for our one-night stop while on our road trip. There were many restaurants as well as the NAU campus within walking distance. Lowell Observatory was only about a 5 minute drive away and had evening hours for stargazing. Williams was a 30 minute drive to the West and we caught the Grand Canyon Railway in the morning. All in all, I'd return again for a night or two.”

“It's an ageing motel that needs to be more modern. Air condition was loud and a small window unit.”

“This is one of those small, u-shaped motels that lined rt. 66 in the 1940's and 50's. As such, it is an old facility with limited capacity for meaningful renovation. My room barely managed to contain a single bed and a tiny bathroom that an oversized guest could not have used. However, the front desk staff was polite and professional, and the place made an effort to serve a "deluxe hot breakfast" of scrambled eggs and white toast. The rooms were renovated tastefully, as best one could do within the limitations of the facility. Basically, I got what I expected - a simple room with 1950's nostalgia - for the price I wanted to pay - $25.the only complaint under the circumstances was the filthy louvered grate covering the full-length gas wall heater.”

“Good service, friendly and professional, and mostly what I expected for the very low price. However, the walls are very thin, people next door sound like they are in the same room.”

“The hotel was a clean, slightly older facility with a few upgrades to the restrooms. Rooms are very small (barely big enough for the bed and TV. The wifi worked! Continental breakfast was a no go. Great hotel for a quick stop or rugged road warrior.”

“Easy access to everything, food, bus, activities. Friendly staff and a comfortable stay. Clear, cold AC. TV aokay. Oversized desk chair in the way. Bath door hard to shut. Closet door blocked by bed hard to use.”

“I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The outside does not look pleasing, but the inside decor is fantastic. You can easily relax if you're taking a trip to the Grand Canyon or one of the near by national parks. Also close to a variety of eateries within walking distance.”

“The hotel doesn't look great, but I left congratulating the front desk attendant for the service, hospitality, breakfast. Showers were great, breakfast better than most higher rated hotels.”

“There are so many reasons I would never stay there again. The price was outrageous, as they charged us an extra fee for having two beds in the room on top of the base price per night. They were very dirty in appearance and to take a shower, we wore shower shoes. Their "hot breakfast" consisted of powdered eggs in a bowl, and frozen waffles to put in a toaster. Our free HBO didn't work, and no effort was made to fix it. This is a terrible place.”

“The room was inadequate. Paint and new carpet would do wonders. The desk clerk charged us 25.00 extra per room when we arrived, said it was there policy. ”

“This was by far the worst hotel I had ever stayed in. It reminded me of one of those hotels where shady deals go down and people live there because they can't afford an apartment or home. In comparisson, the Hotel in San Francisco was $2 cheaper, 1 1/2 stars higher, in a safer location, had more services, and made this place look like a public restroom at a truck stop or public park. I would never stay in that place again. I would have much rather prefered to keep driving a couple of 100 more miles and stayed somewhere else. ”
