“I think the hotel has potential. Remodeling was a distraction. Had to wait for attendant at check-in counter (no one even there). One room had table but no chairs. Probably would not stay here again.”

“In the past we have been very pleased with the hotels we have stayed in. However, this hotel was not in a convenient location for our needs and was not very clean. The workout room torn up and not at all desirable. However, the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was adequate but I certainly have had better. I don't particularly think this hotel is a representation of all La Quinta hotels but I wouldn't want to stay at this particular hotel again.”

“First mistake was my own. I forgot to call ahead and
ask for a non-smoking room. So while it was no fault of the hotel; the trip started poorly. The hotel is being refurbished and the lobby area looks nice. The refurbishing efforts had not reached the third floor, unfortunately.
Our second night, we got back to the room at 9:30 pm and discovered our room had not been cleaned. No clean towels, the beds were unmade, and the garbages full (we have a one-year old in diapers!!). We called the lobby and they were supposed to at least bring us clean towels. 45 minutes later and a couple calls, my husband finally went and got towels himself. We set our full garbage cans in the hall and they were eventually picked up as well. They did nothing in way of trying to remedy the problem -- no money off, no offer to clean the room, barely an apology. It was a horrible ending to a long day with tired kids (1 and 4).
The only redeeming thing about about this hotel was the Continental breakfast. It did have a nice variety. More than just a dry bagel and old coffee.”

“I would say it was a 1 star hotel, but the desk clerk treated me like it was a much higher star hotel. She was friendly and helpful. The room's carpets & furniture could have been cleaner, but the bedding was clean. The towels were small and scratchy as in 1 star hotels.”

“The pool area was great and the desk clerks were very helpful and fun. We had family over and they used the pool and dinning room. The morning staff was very friendly.”

“The hotel seems to attract a lower class of traveler. It allows pets which walked the halls off a leash, hotel is of poor quality and is in need of updating. Seems to have a lot of smoking rooms. They did not have a non-smoking room so offered well I begged and they gave in me a suite which was the only non-smoking room they had at no additional charge. The suite was a joke as far as suites go. Very rough finishing, had almost no furniture. The hotel over all seemed dirty and not well cleaned. Animals were walking in the halls and kids screamed and raced through the hotel into the late hours of the night. My room phone would not make a call to the front desk, I had to use my cell to contact the desk. I was glad to leave even though the staff was nice.”

“When we went to check in, we were told that we had requested a smoking room. We absolutely did not, they didn't have a queen available in non-smoking. They put us in a king room with a roll away which was too short for our 17-year-old son and so I ended up sleeping on it. It was totally uncomfortable and frustrating for three nights, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. ”

“Nice new feel to it. The hotel was very modern. They had no problem with our request for 5 more pillows. The belgin (sp) waffles were great!”
