• The location is good.
• The customer service is lacking especially at night.

“The rooms are noisy whenever guests decide to party hardy, even when the fan is on full blast. For the price and star rating, I would have expected better. When you must be up and running by 5am, it is unpleasant to be wakened at 2am and then not being able to reach anyone at the desk to address neighbors noise. Then not to get your wake-up call at 4:30am is the final straw. We will not return and will steer others elsewhere.”

• Friendly staff, quiet hotel, clean rooms.
• Security gates and doors on back of the building did not lock.

“Clean rooms, good location for what we needed, friendly staff. The restaurant gave us free supper meal for my niece and nephew who were visiting with me. I had some concern when I noticed that the security gates and outside door locks for back of the hotel where we were parked were broken. (They did not lock.) The hotel was quiet and I would stay there again.”

• Clean and comfortable.
• The surrounding community looked dirty and desolate.

“I was enthralled about the fact that this hotel had an attached restaurant and bar. I would have definitely been something to utilize had we stayed longer. It seems like it would be very comfortable for a long stay, but the surrounding area didn't seem like it had much to offer. This hotel and others in the area would serve better as a 'one-nighter' only.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• It was very old and dark and the location did not seem very safe.

“The lobby is nice and open, but the way the rooms were situated, I was nervous about returning after dark, as I entered from a side door of the hotel to get to my room. The hallways are dark and seem old and outdated - the rooms were fine, a little dark also, but seemed clean. Good room for the price but do not think it should be 3 stars - more like 2.5.”

• The staff at Holiday Inn was very helpful and friendly.
• The security doors and locks need to be updated.

“Service at this hotel was great. The staff definitely went out of their way to accommodate you, if you couldn't find it, they'd find it for you. Very friendly. Updating the security doors and locks at the entrances are a must.”

• Size of the room.
• Location was exceptionally unsafe, the hotel was very loud and it was impossible to sleep through the noise.

• The hotel staff was wonderful.
• The in room fridge was not very cold.

“This was a very nice Holiday Inn. Newly remolded it looked like they had used very nice upgrades in the bathrooms. The pool and spa was also enjoyable. The attention to detail by the front desk was very much appreciated.”

• Location makes it hard to find if you're not a local.

“Once you find it, you'll be glad! Great lobby, amenities, and room! Absolutely wonderful bed, and a great shower, too! Unbelievable price and a very comfortable room!”

• Nice patio.
• Did not clean room on 1st night, had to call front desk for service.

“Front desk was friendly. The black waitress in restaurant was the most friendly and service oriented. The other waitresses provided the service that you would expect from your wife when she is mad at you. We ate in the restaurant several times. The food was good especially the mariachi (chorizo and eggs) in the morning. The butt cans outside the entrance to the lounge are not appealing and would deter non smokers from going to the lounge, especially when you have to go through the smoke to get there, please move away from the door, the bartenders in the lounge give great service and are attentive.”

• The staff is really quick when you check in only took like 3 min to get my room key as where other hotels its more like 15 min.
• Not enough towels in the room.
