• It was a good price for the accommodations.
• Not very update.

“It worked fine since I didn't plan to be there much. Would probably stay there again if only to sleep but not if I planned to relax at the hotel.”

• Had a hairdryer and ironing board and iron.
• No refrigerator or microwave.

• Clean, friendly staff.
• Needs better maintenance: 2 broken lamp switches, sink plumbing hot/cold reversed, dirty air filter on A/C.

“This would be a good one-star economy hotel where expectations are minimal. Although it was clean and the staff friendly, the hotel obviously cut corners on maintenance and decor.”

• Lots of pillows, bedding was clean.
• Breakfast nook too small!

“I would only recommend staying at this hotel if you are trying to find a cheap clean place to stay. Nothing fun about it, pool only fun if its hot which is only during two months.”

• The price was right.
• The room was freezing. Did not turn on heater before arrival.

“The room was clean and comfortable, once the heater had a chance to warm it up (about 3 hours later). The daylight breakfast was the skimpiest I have ever seen, plus no place to sit. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, if all you want is a place to sleep.”

• The rooms were good, clean and had good facilities.
• We stayed for 2 day. Problem was the room walls are very thin and we could hear so much noise. Couldn't sleep both days.

• The pool was clean.
• The air conditioning was broken and then didn't have another place for us to go.

• The staff.

“There was construction on the road in front of the hotel, making it a little difficult to reach. Two different members of the hotel staff told me they could move a microwave to my room. They couldn't and didn't. They messed up my reservation and created confusion in their staff and with me. I will not stay at this hotel again even though I travel to this town annually.”

• Not as expensive as other motels in area.
• Carpet was dirty, sink plunger didnt work, slide chain lock broken.

“Our first impression was based upon the dirty carpet and having to try to get the stopper out of the sink. Wouldn't have been a bad motel if not for those conditions.”

• Management, friendly service, close to grocery store, has a pool.
• Older, needs to be remodeled/ upgraded.

“This quaint, family-owned hotel that is not too much farther from the freeway than the other hotel's) offers a nice little rest stop for many travelers going to and from the closely National parks. The hotel is older and in need of improvements such as paint and new wallpaper, but it was clean and the owners were very friendly.”

• The office foyer was much warmer in the morning, so I stayed there to warm up for an hour from night of intense cold.
• This experience has lost day¿s inn any future business with my family.

“3rd dec 2004. 44th wedding anniversary. 27 degrees outside. Drove from Denver to Rexburg. Booked in at 9.15pm. Extremely tired. Changed out first room because it was heavy with smoke, yet we asked for a non smoker, (I am asthmatic) turned on the heater, but it didn't. Jumped into bed fully clothed except for shoes finally got to sleep but feet were still cold in the morning. Asked for full refund, but was told that I couldn't even claim a discount. Decided not to repeat the mistake of staying for a second night. Booked in at the comfort inn by the highway for a much better night, but price was 15 dollars up on the days inn. Bad value for anyone that needs a heater capability in winter time, so the trauma of staying has turned me off going to Rexburg at this time of the year to see my 6 grandchildren who live locally. .”

• The Manager was rude and had no personality at all.

“This was perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The shower tile was gross with the mold. The lining under the springs and mattress was torn and hanging on the floor, and was filthy. The room was not comfortable in the least, and when we requested another room, we were told that wasn't possible, and we know for a fact that there were only a few rooms being used. Also, no sleeping was possible because of all of the outside noise. I really am requesting a refund, or an apology from Days Inn.”
