• Very convenient location.
• Exercise room closed.

“The hotel was very nice, but both hot tubs at the pool were broken the whole time and the exercise room was shut down. They did not know at the front desk where to send us for exercise, but with small children that was a hassle anyway.”

• It was clean and felt luxurious in some areas, like the lobby.
• The view from the indoor balconies that lined each level was very outdated with fluorescent colored lights. It reminded me of the 70's.

“I really enjoyed the first impression of the lobby and the rooms were spacious and well decorated. I also thought the hotel was in a great location, and updated in most areas. The food from the restaurant was great, and all the little extras were included in the room. The bed was very comfortable, which is always a nice surprise in a hotel. I thought there were some areas that need renovation and the bathroom was quite small with leaking fixtures. But overall I would definitely stay there again.”

• Shower current soaked up water and leaked water all over the floor.

• Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are roomy, comfortable, and well decorated.
• The pool was freezing. I guess it was not heated. Also, the pool area was not well maintained.

“Beautiful hotel at a great location in mesa right on route 60. The hotel is right across the street from several restaurants as well as a large mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was well kept and just underwent a major renovation on its interior. Rooms were modern, well maintained, and quiet. The flat screen TV in the room was very nice.”

• Very comfortable room, nice pool, nice surroundings, very, very clean.

“It took less than 5 minutes to check in. Our kids liked the pool and my husband and I liked the adult spa. We would stay again and very soon. Hopefully without the kids. The hotel is by the freeway, but we could not hear it and the mall is located right across the street with several dining options.”

• Liked location, close to museums in Mesa & Phoenix Zoo.
• Smell of smoke coming from bar in middle of hotel. Bathroom a little small.

“Overall nice, comfortable place to stay. Liked pool area and room was very comfortable. Bathroom was a little tight but no big deal.”

• Convenient Location, the room seemed well soundproofed from adjoining room, nice TV, clean, fridge.
• 9.95 for in-room Wi-Fi. Had to walk through lobby which had bar to get to pool or your room.

“Overall very nice hotel, not well suited for families. However lots going on downstairs in the lobby to include a wedding and a conference and we were there less than a day. They charge $9.95 for in-room Wi-Fi or you can use the business center for free however you can't use your own computer. They have only three cheap & dirty PC's in the business center. Also there is a bar in the center of the lobby and you have to walk through there to get to the pool or your room. I found it very inappropriate to have to walk through the lobby to get to the pool. Also lots of drinking and smoking on the patio next to pool, which is not what I wanted my children around. The hotel was clean and reasonable price, but it seemed geared to the clubbing style.”

• Good parking, great staff, wonderful room.
• Wife thought pillows too fluffy.

“Huge interior atrium surrounded by rooms on about 10 stories. Next to golf course, close to excellent shopping, and major arterioles. Nice gift shop, fine rooms and beds. Thanks.”

• Shower drain clogged, not fixed after I called.

• The balcony was too tiny to sit out on.

“My family and I greatly enjoyed our visit to the hotel. We used the pool Jacuzzi, fitness center. My husband & I met friends at the bar later in the evening. It was in a safe location near shopping and restaurants.”

• Parking, noise, cracks in door that was 1/4 inch, having someone's shorts on my balcony from the 7th floor, the unclean shower, but mostly the NOISE.

“I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one seemed to be built with less insulation between the rooms and also the doors open to a huge lobby that reverberates any noise of people talking, closing, opening doors etc. But I have stayed at Embassy Suites that have the same design and they weren't noisy, so I think it is a design flaw. There was a sizable gap in my door to the hallway. Maybe that's why it was noisy; Easter Sunday, the piano in the lobby played from 10 until 3 making staying in the room not even a possibility.”

• Nice clean room, flat panel TV, and comfortable bed.
• Bath tub did not drain; air conditioner was loud and made a clicking sound every time it clicked on.

“The hotel was in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and right across the street from the mall. The room was clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. My only complaints are that the tub did not drain very well, and the air conditioner made a very loud clicking sound every time it kicked on, followed by a very loud rush of air. It woke me every 10 minutes until I finally turned it off. Not a good thing for Phoenix's climate.”
