“Upon arrival, we were initially told by the night supervisor at the front desk that we were supposed to go into a smoking room. Then after we checked-in, there was a mix-up with our hotel rooms, and we ended up in a completely uncleaned room, so we had to go back in the front, and as friendly and helpful as she was, it felt like forever getting into our hotel room. Plus the night supervisor even said that we might get a discount or the night free for the inconvenience but that never happened.”

• It was clean.
• Bed was horrible, never slept all night. Pillows were lumpy and not comfortable. The air conditioner did not work very well. It was very hot.

“It is not in the same category as holiday Inn. The outside grounds were very dirty, several bugs in the room, the bed was very bad and the AC never worked (very hot all night). I had 2 nights. The sleep was so bad I never seven stayed there the second night.”

• Clean, good location, refrigerator, microwave.
• Had to ask for hair dryer, coffee but no tea furnished.

“It was adequate for the price, no frills, with charges for what would normally be furnished in a motel.”

• Location was close to restaurants. I liked the kitchen area.
• No extra pillows, charged me extra to get two beds (this is a 1st), dirty.

“I didn't like being charged extra for two beds. I thought it was dirty and they did change my room for me. The 2nd room was a little better, but still smelled a bit. I had to buy extra pillows at a store because there were no extras at the motel.”

• The hotel sits along a river with trees. Very beautiful.
• I would have rather had a hotel with a pool and food available.

“The staff was friendly. If you wanted to cook for yourself (has a kitchen), go for it. There is a restaurant on the lot, but I would have preferred continental breakfast at the hotel. When traveling, I don't want to sit in a restaurant and wait.”

• There was a strong smell of bleach when I first entered the room, but it went away with the door open for a few minutes.

• It was located near restaurants, stores etc.
• Charged extra for 2 beds! Dirty bathroom.

“DHL delivered a package of medication for us at 11:16 a.m. I checked with the front desk attendant who said the package had not arrived. Put a trace through DHL and found that indeed the package was delivered to the desk at 11:16 a.m. When family member called the front desk for verification, was told, "oh yes, here it is"- that was at 4:30 p.m. As I said, this was medication that we had overnighter to us, this should not have happened.”

• Clean, cheerful, had a refrigerator freezer in the room which we used to refreeze our ice containers. It was great.
• The curbs, sidewalks, parking areas needed cleaning. There were leaves, dirt, and oil stains on the cement. The exterior needed a good cleaning.

“My husband and I were delighted with the pretty, tastefully decorated and equipped room. The colors were lovely and the walls looked as if they were freshly painted. We didn't use the kitchen appliances other than the refrigerator-freezer for our cooler items. We were traveling home from stay in AZ and were delighted with the nice and clean refrigerator to refreeze our ice and store our coolers contents. It was a wonderful surprise. A very nice room and we would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is nicely located and the stay there was just great. The only thing we did not like was the sidewalks and pavers needed a good sweeping and cleaning. There were leaves, dirt, and oil stains. That should be taken care of. The room itself was spotless and that is very important to me. It was just great.”

• I did not even stay at the hotel. I went to another one with a pool.
• It cost me about 80bucks &I did not even go to the hotel.

“I was under the impression the hotel had a pool based on your ad. It did not; I was going to take my kid swimming and then do Easter baskets in the morning. So I dumped about 80 bucks on a worthless hotel room. I ended up using another service and was very satisfied with the end results.”

• Conveniently located close to a mall.
• One of the front desk people was very unhelpful and unsympathetic.

“The smoking rooms are REALLY stinky. The staff that checked us in was extremely uncaring and unhelpful when I requested for a non-smoking room and when my toilet didn't work. For an extended stay hotel, the staff should be a lot of pleasant!”

• The exterior and location were good.

“The exterior of the hotel was nice. My husband, daughter, and I were in Salt Lake for my husband's business. They gave us a room on the bottom floor which was obviously intended for a handicapped person. We only had one bed in the room. The shower had no tub or stall; it was open with a seat for a person who uses it with a wheelchair. This was not a hotel I would recommend to another person.”

“This hotel is exactly what I wanted for an inexpensive ski trip. Location is excellent for easy access to the Cottonwood Canyons. Location is pretty good for access to Downtown SLC for the evenings. Free passes to the local 24 Hour Fitness are a big plus.”

• We liked the set up of the suite style room.
• The office was a little slow in helping us, understaffed perhaps but very helpful when we got them.

“Usually I am very impressed with the value for the money and when I drove up to this property, it looked great. The room was very poor though. There was left over food in the refrigerator.”

• When I had a problem they tried to quickly fix it.
• This is extended stay not overnight, no maid service, dirty dishes in the sink, and old coffee in the maker, not vacuumed, not well.

“Looks good from the outside, off the street, dark back side, what a surprise inside. There was a sign saying that they would be remodeling next spring or something, maybe it will get better.”

• The creek beside the hotel was beautiful.
• Smoking rooms only had one bed.

“The Hotel gave us a room with only one bed. I had a reservation for two queen sized beds. I called them right away and complained. They told me that a room with two beds would cost me $10:00 more. I had to pay it to get what I wanted. The first room was on the third floor and it smelled like mold, The second room smelled better but was not as clean as I would have cleaned it.”
