• The staff was rude and wanted to charge more money at check in.

• The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
• It was dirty, out dated and it smelled bad!

“The hotel looked like it was converted from a condo complex. It needs some serious updating. The whole room looked like it was out of the 70's. We left to do some shopping and did not want to return to the room. After reluctantly returning to our room we found that the bed was comfortable and sleep able after throwing the bed cover off. Overall we were unhappy with the hotel.”

• The hotel room was spacious and accommodating.
• The front desk employee seemed to be a little clueless as to what he was doing.

“Rooms were great. We got a two story room with full kitchen accommodations. Unfortunately this was only by happy mistake as we were given the wrong room.”

• The complimentary food was good.
• Older rooms that smelled like mildew and tobacco.

“It is an older, none updated property with a great complimentary food selection, however. Actually the lobby and eating area was well updated. They may want to remodel the rooms.”

• Incredibly close location.
• Hard to get in/out from street, open other exit/entrance.

“Hotel room much larger and better than expected. Wasn't expecting breakfast, then only continental and was surprised by the hot breakfast. Usual waffle makers plus gourmet sausages on the 2nd day. The maze-like walkways to various rooms/courtyards of hotel may be a little scary to some women but I didn't feel any danger, besides the area seemed nice and wasn't the sort where one gets mugged.”

• Coffee maker in room did not work.

• The location, the spaciousness of room and breakfast.
• First room had 1/2 filled shampoo bottle, bathroom not clean and
  2nd room floor not clean.

“Not all rooms have been renovated. Renovated rooms are comfortable & cleaner. Personnel are friendly & helpful.”

• It has potential and is located centrally to where I intended on going.
• It was not clean, the room had ants, and my requests were ignored, poor customer service.
  

“The floor in the bathroom was still dirty, the lobby fans, tables, floor and counters were filthy, after falling ill the first night, I awake to find ants all over the bathroom and kitchen floors and there was only decaf coffee in the room, I left cards at the desk asking that the room be cleaned and rid of bugs and that regular coffee be left, only to return after a long day to find that liquid cleaner had been left on the toilet seat, no regular coffee, there were still ants and filth on the floors, and the construction started on the adjacent building each morning at 6:30 am. I will never stay or recommend the Chase Hotel to anyone.

• The BBQ in evenings and the beds so comfortable.
• We had to call 3 times for an extra blanket.

“This hotel had a very safe feeling. Everything is close to you and they have a social hour of BBQ. next time I have to go to Shriners Hospital I plan on stay again.”
