  • This hotel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have seen in quite a while.

“Very professionally run facility. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and make sure guests were taken care of. Prices were as negotiated, with no surprise facility fees. Rooms were very nice and modern.”

  • Very clean.
  • Could hear conversations in other rooms/showers/hall noise.

“We thought it was a good experience. Would definitely get a room with a king size bed next time. Beds were small.”

  • Location and friendly staff.
  • Guest rooms need to be updated, the wallpaper is old and peeling.

“Nice staff, great location right to Downtown.”

  • The staff was exstremely nice. The service was over the top.
  • I liked everything.

“I feel that the hotel went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable and treated.”

  • Nice location downtown.
  • Room was not clean.

“Our room had gross patches on the ceiling and the bathroom had dried goobers stuck to the wall. The location was nice but overall the experience was a let down.”

  • Convenient location to Convention Center.
  • Had to pay for Internet access and parking was very expensive.

“Excellent location, rooms very roomy and clean- excellent pool and hot-tub facilities. Found restaurant prices a big high- also had to pay to airport shuttle services both ways and each passenger ie: my wife and I had to pay $16 each to and from the airport. Felt the Hotel should have provided airport shuttle service and also Internet service.”

  • I liked the way I was treated when I got to the hotel.

“I was very impressed with the overall experience. The valet was very helpful; the person at the check in counter was great. She was very nice and helpful. The room was nice as well.”

  • Close to the activity that we were attending.
  • Too expensive to eat at hotel unless you didn't care what you paid.

“The room was dusty, very regular interior windows were so filthy you could not see out. This was no where near a 4 star.”

  • Good location.
  • No room service after 10:30 restaurant closed at 10 even on weekend nights toilet didn't work bathtub clogged air conditioning inefficient.

“Not enough services, parking ridiculously expensive older hotel rooms somewhat rundown no room service after 10:30 PM.”

  • Close proximity to where the action happens.
  • Housekeeping and reception not star quality.

“Great hotel at the price I paid, however, needs to pay attention to basic services like prompt response to any request, charming and pleasant staff especially in the reception, with Hilton's background in the hotel industry, I am surprised that staff still miss to replace basic amenities like shampoo, soap. Receptionist doesn't sound professional, business-like and pleasant. It is nice to be welcome by a warm and smiling face in a place you'll stay away from home.”

  • Parking situation was not explained very clearly the first time we were there.

“Good location to restaurants and other activities. Parking at hotel a little on the high side at $13 when the lot next door is $3.”

  • There was an olive garden next door.
  • I thought the room was small the fire alarm went off when I was showering.

“I would not recommend this hotel nor do I think. I will ever stay in another one.”

  • The bed was extremely comfortable, excellent housekeeping staff.
  • Hot tub was very dirty, staff acted bugged that we expected non-smoking

“The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff acted irritated that we had requested non-smoking and stated since we did it through priceline it was simply a request and not something they should have to do. The hot tub was also very gross and the water frequently turned brown. Both of those complaints had minor effect on our stay. The housekeeping staff was excellent and complied to our needs. Excellent location.”

  • Staff was OUTSTANDING

“We were traveling with both an infant and my 90 year old mother. Acommodations were fabulous for both. The staff treated my elderly mother as if she were their own grandmother...very sweet.”

  • It was close to the convention center.
  • The beds were small, two full size and the room had no hair dryer.

“The staff was friendly, the common areas were clean. We did not eat at the restaurants.”

  • The room had air conditioning.
  • Bad parking. They charged us for internet.

“The parking was horrible. For $13 dollars a day I should be able to find a parking space in less than two hours. They charged extra for internet. They just nickle and dimmed us to death the whole time I was there.”

  • Clean, friendly staff.
  • They charged for WiFi! In 2009
WiFi should be free, especially in a hotel like Hilton!

“My wife and I were in town for the weekend to find (and purchase) a house in Salt Lake City. This Hilton was centrally located. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. My only gripe was that they charged $9.99 for WiFi. I feel like this is completely unacceptable, especially for a brand as well known as Hilton. I would have expected more. On top of that, the staff had no idea of where I could go for free wireless. Hilton! Come on - you're better than that.”

  • No place to eat lunch at the hotel, both the
    restaurant were

  • 3 of us would have liked daily internet- very pricey.

“Great staff- very friendly and knowledgeable. The beds were awesome, very comfy, feather pillows, and high thread count linen. The down side was super high priced internet- with 3 of us wanting to use wi- fi upon awakening each day, along with the $13.00 a day to park your own car, it would have cost more than the hotel room! Great location, okay- indoor pool, overall clean, but not 5 star luxury hotel.”
