• It had a really nice ambiance.
• The extra fee and the rooms weren't the cleans.

“It's a very nice hotel, however the extra fee called something like a luxury fee was a joke and just an extra way to make more money because I didn't really see any benefit to it. The rooms were pretty nice but if you can get the double queen bed rooms because we got a king room originally but we switched because it was a little out-dated. If I could rate it overall out of 10 I would give it a six.”

• The staff, room service, valet was very good.
• If you didn't valet your car, you had to climb stairs to the self park lot.

“Great place to stay, right on the golf course. The staff is very friendly. Room service was fantastic. Room was really comfortable, from the ice cold AC to the 27" flat screen HDTV to the bed which was very comfortable.”

• The rooms were lovely, good linens, plenty of space, very quiet.
• It was a little farther out of downtown than I anticipated.

“This was a great hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, very quiet and the linens very soft. The poolside service was a nice treat after a long day of driving and food was good and the martini's great! All hotel personnel we had contact with was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Large rooms, good smells, clean.
• Nothing to say.

“Older, but very well-kept. Large rooms accommodate families. We slept one on the floor, but had a lot of space. Two sinks in the room really helped a family of 5 in the morning and evening. Large closet for all the luggage we had. Plenty of hangers, two robes, and most of all, it was clean and quiet.”

• Being charged a mandatory resort fee of $16/day.

“Basically for a resort it was just a regular room with nicer furniture, the space was no different than any other hotel room.”

• Everyone was very friendly, helpful and it was very nice.
• The food was not very good.

• Loved the coffee bar, bikes provided for the nearby bike trails and great rooms.
• Food nothing to rave about. Yogurt and granola was Yoplait yogurt in its original container and a bowl of granola. Not too dazzling.

“Our family loves this resort. This was the first time we actually ate at the restaurant - Palm Court. Stick with an omelet or French toast. The buffet has slim pickings and the light dishes are not very well presented. The swimming pool, fitness center and bike trails are the reason we will keep coming back.”

• Hotel staff was very welcoming.
• Restaurants within the hotel were very pricy. Make use of the bars happy hour.

“Great place to stay if you are looking for a get away. The large pool is open 24 hrs a day, and the lounge has a very reasonable happy hour. Restaurants are very pricy, and their is a resort fee. But overall, a great place to stay.”

• Beautiful surroundings, very nice rooms and excellent service.
• I liked everything, except resort fee.

“This is a great resort that most people would really like. I travel a lot and this was one of the nicest I've stayed in. I didn't eat there so I can't say anything about the food, Scottsdale has way to many restaurant's to try out. It is also good to know there is a $16 resort fee per day, so add that to your budget, all if not most resorts in Scottsdale/world have parking or resort fees, so stop complaining! Its nice to know upfront though. Stay here and you will love it!”

• A beautiful and peaceful resort. One of my favorite places to stay.
• The pool is okay, but not at the same level as many in Phoenix.

“This is a beautiful and peaceful hotel tucked away in a lovely part of Scottsdale. It allows for a feeling of serenity and I am always sorry to leave. There is exactly the right amount of attention from staff. They leave you alone but if you even think you might need something they bend over backwards to help. It is one of my favorite Phoenician hotels.”
