“The rooms were quite nice, the long walk to the rooms qualify as exercise, and even though both service and food were excellent at the restaurant, the wines were from Circle K or something- truly offensive wine list. It's a great place for a convention, but not the best for business or leisure travelers.”

“The hotel was nice. A little difficult to navigate around the premises at first. Free bicycles were great and the bike paths through the lakes and golf courses are really outstanding. Hot tub is very hot and clean. Pool is shallow but clean. Lots of people who ran in the marathon were there, drinking at the hot tub all day, also smoking at the hot tub which was not allowed. Lots of pool towels and nice pool lounge chairs with cloth padding.”

“At check-in, we were informed that a mandatory daily resort fee of $19 would be added to cover parking, fitness center use, internet access, local phone calls, bicycle rental, free morning coffee, tennis court use, along with a few other services. We had no choice but to stay and pay the $19 daily resort fee. We could hear the noise from the hot tub late into the night, and the next morning we discovered that you could also hear the noise in the hallway through the doors. On the positive side, our room was quite spacious, had an HD television, and nice furniture. However, the room was aging and on the ground floor and was quite dark. The additional daily $19 resort fee.”

“Liked the hotel property a lot, had a warm feel, and nice rooms. Did not have the Resort Hotel feeling, but we did not have time to take advantage of all the facilities. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays.”

“This hotel is a dump. It may have been a 4 star when it was built, but it badly needs remodeling. Bad parking. Bad facilities. Bad staff & service. Also, I was charged with a resort fee that increased my price 27%.”

“The outlets
did not work in the bath area. But the room was comfy and this one overlooks the golf course, so it was nice. Bedding was very comfy, rest of the staff was awesome.”

“I was very unhappy that they charged $16/day surcharge for coffee in the lobby, daily newspaper, overnight parking, the fitness room. I wasn't expecting that fee and didn't use any of those services.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and tastefully decorated and very clean. I was on business travel; however, I was able to relax comfortably without noisy neighbors or outside distractions during the hours that I was in my room.”

“At night, this hotel is beautiful. The area in which the hotel is nice, near some other quality resorts that I've also stayed at before. It was a nice room, that was mostly clean, but my main issue is that they charged for parking there. It's not like they are in central Phoenix where space is at a minimum.”

“This resort exceeds the expectation for the money. It is a terrific value, as Scottsdale is quite an expensive place. It is somewhat aged, but does not show it. The staff at the resort treat you like a CEO. It was one of the best experiences of any Priceline hotel ever booked. The resort fee is somewhat annoying, but it does cover parking, WiFi, and gives access to the fitness center and free bike rental. For the money, it is quite a deal.”

“The hotel more than met our expectations for the fantastic price. The room was on the small side but newly renovated with a nice size HD flat screen TV.”

“The hotel is nice but I felt that it needed some updating and touching up. This place could be fantastic if it just did a few minor things like what I've suggested. I stay at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge & the Renassiance on Scottsdale road each year and I would not put it at the same resort level as those two places. The Renassaince would be a closer like property but is maintained better.”
