• The pool was very warm! The staff was extremely friendly.
• We could hear everything upstairs. Very noisy.

“For the price, we couldn't have done much better. Next time we will ask for a room on the third floor. You could hear everything that went on upstairs. The flushing of the toilet upstairs was the worst!”

• Large suite with very comfortable bedding.
• Room doors are outside (facing courtyard though).

“I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, clean and comfy room and good, reasonably priced food at the restaurant. I would recommend this to business travelers and possibly a romantic getaway on a budget.”

• Quiet location - but off beaten path.

“Comfy beds, tiny bathroom, appreciated suite style room with kitchenette and sitting area. Nice courtyard with pool & hot tub. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. Not luxury hotel, but nice.”

“Great location to all sorts of great shopping.I would stay there again just for the proximity of some great shops. The staff was helpful and the rooms were nice.”

• The location close to shopping.
  
• It smelled and looked old, the towels were dingy and the lighting was very poor especially in the bathroom.

• Location, it was an airport hotel and far from downtown.

“Okay hotel for a business traveler. The rooms were large and comfortable, with the exception of a very small bathroom. Very limited food and beverage on-site. Low staffing levels made for poor service.”

• Staff & mildew smell in the room.

“I was between meetings; I only had 45 minutes to travel from where conference was being held and the hotel. As I walked up there was a staff member that did not greet me or acknowledge me even though I was the only at counter, then when she did acknowledge me, she told me that there was someone else that would help me, but didn’t bother to summon this person, I waited and watched this person for 5 minutes at counter before someone finally came to check me out.”

• The price was great!
• The staff was not very friendly. It took the staff about 5 minutes to recognize me at check-in.

“For the price this was a great hotel. It is basic hotel that is nice for a night or two. The staff was not very friendly. At check-in the man at the desk was on the phone. He did not acknowledge my presence at all. He just needed to nod or say, I will be right with you. Other than that we had a nice stay.”

• I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms were old but clean.
• The pool was dirty.

• It was beautiful. The pool was awesome, the rooms were great.
• Nothing, we loved it all.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone, we loved it. I wish we could have had more time to spend here but we got there late due to driving from one town to another. This was an excellent hotel to stay at, very clean, very organized & a wonderful continental breakfast with many items on the menu in the morning. The pool was beautiful & very clean. Beds were great, not hard like a lot of beds in hotels are. I'd stay here again in a minute !”

• Our room was a suite; very roomy & spacious; bathroom was clean as was the entire suite.
• You could smell cigarette smoke when the air conditioner was running.

“This hotel is located at Scottsdale Airport and is in a very convenient location in Scottsdale and close to the 101. Although, we did not use the pool, our room overlooked it and it seems inviting and clean. We did enjoy the complimentary hot & cold breakfast every morning and the food was good. We would definitely recommend keeping this hotel in mind for the future.”

• Nice size room, pretty quiet.
• Small bathroom, black marks on the carpet.

“The price was great; the room was large and had a refrigerator, microwave. kitchen sink, and padded chair and hide a bed. The directions map to the hotel was confusing, and the phone number given was answered with a recording to leave a message. The mattress was comfortable, but I do not like the heavy comforter. It is either too warm or too cold. I liked the wall thermostat. My room was away from the airport, so was relatively quiet. The rooms facing the airport might be much noisier.”

• My room was enormous! I had no idea we would have the separate living and sleeping areas.
• I really cannot think of anything right now.

“Everything about this hotel was done very nicely and professionally. There was more than enough space for all of our luggage and kids' items and we were not cramped at all. Even though it appears to be an older hotel, I did not feel like it was run-down or unsafe. I did not have any problems and will definitely recommend this hotel to others.”

• Water temperature was not stable.

“I love this place! I have stayed here about 5 times, and each time it has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The appetizers are great. Although few people go down for happy hour. It is close to the airport, but a minor inconvenience considering that you are right across the street from Kierland Commons lots of shopping and good eats. Also close to Barcelona's and Devil's Martini if you like to dance the night away. The only caution is to test your bath/shower water because sometimes it is way too hot. I extended my stay twice because I like it so much.”
