• The spacious rooms.
• We found a dirty glass under one of the beds.

“Decent hotel with spacious rooms and kitchenette. Ideal for families traveling with young children. Our kids enjoyed the pool.”

• Nothing was good.
• Small room, small TV, bad reception, bad food, bad property, bad wireless Internet.

“Was supposed to get a room for myself. Was walked in on several times as they kept giving my hotel room to other guests. At least 5 saw me in my underwear!!!!!! Was supposed to get my $$$ back, but was told that I would get a free stay, now they won't send that even. This hotel is awful and it is a black eye to the service you provide that is generally good. What a horror story.”

• The front desk clerk was nice and the rooms were fairly clean.
• Too old and there was allot of dirt and other debris under the beds.

“The staff was very friendly but they did not have my reservation when I arrived, luckily they did accommodate us with a 2bd suite. The rooms are very spacious and the interiors of the rooms were fairly new, although the outside is a lot older and outdated. The pools are too small. Another weird thing was that people were using the downstairs rooms as storefronts for jewelry and other accessories.”

• Breakfast was horrible.

“The rooms are tiny, you can hear every time someone moves on the second floor. They say they have a breakfast buffet but it was more along the lines of a continental breakfast if even that. You have a TV. that is so small compared to any other motel that I have stayed at. It was clean but other than that the ranking of it at 2 1/2 stars I think is a joke. It also didn't have any thing in the rooms that they said it would.”

• The gentlemen that was working in the front desk on the morning of the 21st of May was very accommodating as we arrived several hours earlier.
• The main problem in this hotel was the smell, which was horrible. The second problem was the temperature control which would be too hot or too cold.

“Overall this hotel was not satisfactory. Expectations were over sold and true performance was under delivered.”

• Front desk staff.

“The hotel worked out fine. The staff at the front desk were rude. When we checked in they did not have our information. Then on may 4th and 5th they charged my account for 1,121.19 on each day. I called my credit card company and had them investigate this.”

• The location, staff everything. Noise, Floors squeaked above making sleep difficult./ Hotel looks!!!!!!!

“We arrived late (coming from California after a full day of work. The clerk had the door locked and through the glass door said our reservations were "cancelled". We were exhausted and had been on the phone with him for two hours trying to find this hotel (yahoo maps was wrong) and HE had even given us wrong directions. Then the location was horrible. We travel over 50,000 miles a year with our work and never have stayed at such a lousy place. The price ($125.00) was 3 times what we normally pay for 10 times better rooms. It sits across from a boarded vacant hotel and behind "waterfront" (drain basin for the city. What a ruined weekend !!!!!!!!!!The pools were ice cold.”

• Location, setting 4 pool areas, great free breakfast, happy hour, big rooms and walk in closet, bigger kitchen.
• Just old and needs modern furniture and much better spa and hot tub area.

“Beautiful clean setting along canal made going out the back for a run or walk very convenient while in the middle of Scottsdale for dining and shopping wit then steps, loved the breakfast setup though, coffee was bad.”

• I was not happy. They front desk gave a key card to a man while we were still in the room. He came into our room while we were getting dressed.

“First of all they put us in the wrong room, which they then followed by putting us in a room which had a broken air conditioner. The room temperature was at 97 degrees. The sofa had a cigarette hole in it and it was extremely noisy.”

• Almost everything else.

“It is not a hotel, it is an apartment complex. It should not be listed as a hotel in my opinion. The beds were the most uncomfortable that we have ever slept in, even more so than Motel 6 which we stayed the next night. It did not have the amenities that were mentioned in your 2 1/2 star guide. The handicapped room had a toilet that was completely disconnected from the floor. They had a plumber come and try to fix it, but were unsuccessful. However you look at it, it was like staying in a run down apartment room for a week. ”

• Great location near Scottsdale road, good full breakfast buffet included with room, nice outside eating area.
• Very poor sound insulation between rooms--could hear radio/TV and loud walking from room above, studios are quite small, older facility.

“Easy access to everything nice in Scottsdale via Scottsdale road. Avoid hotel if you are a light sleeper and easily bothered by noise from adjacent rooms. Other than the noise issue and the fact that the studio rooms are quite small, we really liked the hotel because of the location and the full buffet breakfast and a very nice outside patio eating area.”
