• The view from the room was great and there was a starbucks within the hotel.
• The hot tub closest to me was broken and the staff was only barely friendly.

“It was pretty nice, a lovely room with a great view of a putting green and two welcoming pools, with the hotel very near downtown Scottsdale.”

• Spacious rooms. Well groomed lavish grounds, and friendly staff.
• Extra charge for exercise facilities, no refrigerators, and no microwave ovens.

“For the most part our stay was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean with plenty of towels/toiletries. Our room was located in a very quite area even though we were on the first floor by the pool. We were a little disappointed there wasn't a refrigerator or microwave in the room. Also having to pay extra to use the exercise facility.”

• Clean, pleasant environment and well located. Very comfortable.
• Restaurant prices very high. Needs also a moderately priced cafe in complex.

• The public facilities seemed really great, and the frontal appearance was great.
• For the cost I would have expected at least a microwave in the room.

“Aside from a beautiful frontal appearance in the driveway and lobby, and from the great pool area, I wouldn't completely use the word "Resort" to describe this one.”

• The dream bed.

“This resort was beautiful, clean and friendly. Will do this again soon. The bed had a feather bed on top with 6 feather pillow and clean white robes for the 2 of us to lounge in. A great experience!.”

• Awesome value. 4 star hotel for a 2-3 star price!
• Rooms book up quick.

“Great hotel. Originally booked a deluxe room but when I showed up they were sold out of those so I was given a standard room. That aside, the stay was excellent!”

• Bad wine glasses, offered with our bottle of wine at dinner.

“This was a wonderful property. Easily the most comfortable pillows and bed have ever slept on in a hotel. Very nice property.”

• Great architecture, beautiful landscaping, great pools.
• Breakfast service was very slow for the amount of guests at restaurant; not prepared to do business.

“This is a beautiful setting, but takes a bit to learn to Navigate through the maze of buildings that comprise the blocks of rooms. Rooms closest to the road get a fair amount of noise, in spite of a sound wall between the road and hotel parking area, but not to the point of annoyance. The staff is really great, and dining is a nice experience. Though the menu is somewhat limited, the food is quite good. We stayed two days, and could have been comfortable staying two weeks!”

• No extra resort fee (big plus!).
• Didn't get the king bed over the pool. 2 queens over green space.

“Probably the biggest plus of this hotel was "no hidden unannounced resort fee" which drives me nuts on 70% of the resort class hotels and one of the reasons I don't use as much as I would otherwise. So all in all it was a pleasant surprise and a hotel that I would stay in again.”

• It has got to be the ugliest hotel we've seen in years.

• The hotel was conveniently located. Pool area was refreshing. Wish they had free wireless in rooms.
• Wish they had free wireless in rooms. Due to the hot sunny weather it was difficult to use a computer in outside area due to sun glare.

• The walls were a bit thin you can hear your neighbors.

“This hotel was great and comfortable the location was perfect and central to all of Scottsdale. I loved the beds and pillows. I would definitely return to this hotel!”

• Beautiful room with high ceilings and large romantic balcony. Modern furniture and very comfortable bed.
• No mini fridge in the room.

“I stayed at the room with my wife for one night and we were blown away at the quality of the room for such a small price. The staff is fast and friendly, the room is modern and beautiful. The ceiling in the room was very high. My only problem was the lack of a mini fridge. Other than that, it was a near 4-star quality hotel. We will definitely go back. I highly recommend it for the price.”

• Location in a good area, comfortable beds.
• The rooms could have been a little cleaner, shower curtains would cling on to you when showering.

“The rooms were clean on the surface but when we were checking out we looked under the beds to make sure nothing was left behind and found some toys, which leads me to think that cleaning is not as thorough as should be. The beds were very comfortable; shower curtain was cloth and was too clingy when trying to shower. The grounds were very well kept and nice. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. There was a very nice restaurant we didn't eat at but it was in near the lobby and it looked very nice and relaxing. The health club staff was also very nice. Also a nice touch was warm chocolate chip cookies for guests when you arrive.”
