“The hotel was gorgeous. It had a playground and pool which would be great for kids. The rooms were large and comfortable. My room had patio that overlooked the main street, but some rooms overlooked the pool. The food was good and the staff was very friendly.”

“Great hotel except there is no pattern to the room
so you can get lost. As noted, even on the 2nd floor you can't leave a door open. People climb the walls all the time. I have stayed here twice and I really like it. The rooms are beautiful. Coffee maker but no fridge.”

“We stayed at the Doubletree Paradise Valley for 5 nights at the end of December 09 and were very pleased with it, and great value. The grounds are lovely, 2 pools with cabanas by the main pool. Our group had 2 rooms which were slightly different, in that one room had a long counter and the other room a short counter. The rooms were large, main area about 16 ft by 12 ft, large entrance area about 8 x 7, well appointed bathroom, very comfy medium firm king bed, 32 inch flat screen, patio with table and chairs overlooking the pool and grounds, work desk plus coffee table, swivel chair at desk plus 2 easy chairs, ottoman, and settee at the bottom of the bed. Nice to find a mini bar to keep our drinks, plus a sink. Everything was clean and very presentable. Staff was very helpful, free hot choco chip/oatmeal cookies at the front desk when coming and going. Free shuttle van every hour going within 2 miles of the hotel, with personal pickups if not busy. 10 minute walk, under half a mile, to the huge Scottsdale Fashion Center. 20 minute drive to the McDowell Mountain trails and shorter drive to the Camelback Mountains and Papago Park, walking areas around the buttes. A quick drive south to all the action on Scottsdale road, the main drag. Also, 4 free internet stations in the lobby, access with room key/card, to print boarding passes as well as general surfing.”

“My wife and two teenage kids stayed here for four nights over the Christmas holidays. The staff was extremely friendly and very happy to accommodate my family's requests for their famous chocolate chip cookies. Room was modern, spacious and very clean. Outstanding water pressure in the shower topped it off!”

“Situated centrally in Scottsdale, AZ this upscale well known resort has larger than average rooms that contain luxurious appointments and amenities. It is close to top drawer shopping and dining and easily accessible from Loop 101. We have stayed here several times and are always pleased when we successfully bid for a Priceline room and end up here. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed over Thanksgiving Holiday. Many options were available for Holiday dining. Shopping for the day after Thanksgiving was awesome, Scottsdale mall was minutes away. Nice rooms and excellent design, needed new carpets in rooms, otherwise everything was great.”
