• The beds were very comfortable.
• The carpet was filthy!

“This is basically a fixed up motel. Unfortunately, when we were there they had not replaced the carpet in the rooms and it was absolutely disgusting. Even if everything was fixed up I still wouldn't be able to call this a 3 star hotel. On the brighter side of things, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.”

• The staff is helpful and friendly. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is clean.
• The hotel room I stayed in was like a run down Motel 6. Carpet is dirty and TV is very old!

“I was very disappointed with the room I stayed at. The carpet is dirty and old. The TV is like the smallest I have ever seen in all the hotels I have stayed at. It reminds me of a Motel 6 they bought and trying to upgrade it to a 3 star hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is upscale. The surrounding area is inviting. But the rooms are terrible.”

• Great pool area.
• Ours was listed as a premium room-it was small and very standard.

“Pool area was great if that was what you were there for. Room was very small, but clean and neat-we were just staying for a quick night, so we did book a less expensive room than we normally do. It was adequate for what we needed and ok value for what we got.”

“The room was outdated with cheap furniture and dirty carpet. It had the smell of strong cleaning solutions. The air conditioner was a unit in the room and was quite noisy. It was either off or on. I would describe this as a motel not a hotel.”

• The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen TV was nice.

“This was more like a motel or travel lodge than a hotel. The room was not as nice as described, dirty carpet, loud AC, damp towels, and there was no breakfast due to being locked out of the room. No apology.”

• I loved the new interior design. Very elegant.
• The lounge was a little expensive.

“The pool is very lush, well designed and comfortable. When you enter Hotel Scottsdale you feel very welcome. It also is in a very convenient location.”

• Pool and surroundings very clean and relaxing quiet atmosphere. Hotel lounge was outstanding. Best bar in the area.
• Rooms were small but accommodations poolside was definitely nicer than parking lot side. We were lucky to get poolside.

• Very unclean, grounds sun kept, pool was dirty, unlighted.

“We found that the grounds and pool were very unclean. Location was excellent. Staff responded promptly to my complaint of youngsters intoxicated at 2 am, problem solved quickly. Check in-not friendly, merely efficient if completing task.”

• Breakfast, location, computer available, newspaper outside my door.
• Noisy, room a little tired looking.

“Okay but rooms a little tired. Very noisy bathroom fan. Could hear what sounded like something heavy being rolled overhead during the night. Pool was a good temperature as was the whirlpool but there were only two working jets on the whirlpool. Computer available for guest use. Great continental breakfast. Good location.”

• Wireless internet, free continental breakfast and coffee in lobby.
• Room keycard became deactivated and had to go to lobby to fix it.

“Comfy bed, decent cable TV, great wireless internet that was easy to use, pleasant continental breakfast. Staff was courteous and friendly. Just a fine place to stay.”

• It was close to old town for sight seeing and alot of good restruants.

“It was very neat and clean. we had trouble with our air and the switched us to another room within seconds. They we very friendly. We love Scottsdale and as my grandson said the pool was awesome!”

• Location, Location, Location, great swimming pool, gorgeous room loctation near pool side..
• I can think of nothing bad to say.

“We had a great room on the first floor by the pool. The room was extremely large with a lounge chair and desk with a king bed. The best part was the location near Old Town Scottsdale and the Fashion Mall. ”
