“Construction in process, access to hotel limited. Noise a problem due to location and construction. Rooms old, long past time to redo to say the least. Restaurant in parking lot now closed.
”

• A complete dump.
• Dirty rooms, unsafe location.

“When I arrived, the location was shady at best, and the room was filthy, with noise coming from other rooms. The front desk staff were friendly, but clueless about their surroundings. None of them knew of any restaurants, movie theaters, or points of interest in the area. It was given a 3-star rating. This hotel deserved only 1 star.”

• It's in Scottsdale.
• This is an old hotel. There was a motor noise in the room, not sure if it was air conditioning of the pool filter.

“Very old property. The wood furniture had been "refinished" and was sticky. The room was noisy with a rhythmic motor noise, either from air conditioners on the roof or the pool filter all night. There was a refrigerator but no microwave. I won't stay here again.”

• Staff was friendly and efficient.
• The "free" breakfast was bagels, cold cereal, & eggs.

“It did its job, but barely. The AC in the room was not working well, making it warmer and more humid than being outside. Although a non smoking room, it smelled like an ash tray.”

• The refrigerator in the room; the breakfast each morning.
• A slight odor in the room.

“Staff was courteous; complimentary breakfast was excellent; hotel was clean; refrigerator in the room was huge plus.”

• Convenient location.
• Room was not very clean; front desk staff not friendly.

“Convenient location to downtown Scottsdale. Barely a two-star hotel; more like a motel. Front desk staff could use some customer service training.”

• Bathroom not clean.

“I normally generate searches for resort hotels or at least 4-5 stars. Bad weekend in pHs. To get a room.”

• The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure.
• The room is not taken care of with broken pictures, etc. We felt like we were in a sleazy place.

“I would say that the hotel needs allot of updating. The minute we walked into our room, we started laughing and saying, so much for star rooms at low prices. There was a picture hanging crooked with a broken frame. The furniture was older and the room had a moldy smell to it. The cleaning staff did the best they could with it, but even then, there were places that hadn't been dusted in the room or wiped off in the bathroom. We would not stay there again and were really disappointed. The continental breakfast ran out of food each morning if you didn't get there at the beginning. We thought that being in Scottsdale, even a two star hotel would be like a nice, updated place to stay. . Obviously the price was right, but we both got colds after staying in the moldy room. Sorry I didn't have much nice to say, but truth is truth.”

• Noisy room. stains on sink. loud AC. traffic noise. motel door type. avoid!!
