• The room was filthy .

“We requested a non-smoking room and when entering the room, we could smell smoke, the comforter had a cigarette burn in it, a French fry was in the bedding, and the bathtub was stained black.”

• Location & accommodations were good for the price.
• The bed was absolutely horrible as it made noise with every movement.

“The hotel met our expectations for our week long stay. It was roomy and had kitchen utensils, microwave, fridge and stove burners that helps during a long stay. The bed was terrible as it was hard and creaked with every movement.”

• Really easy to find, right off the interstate!
• It cost $15 extra for another bed, we could have been in a 4 star for this much more.

“The room was not terrible but I was very surprised they would charge us for an extra bed especially for not being a high quality hotel.”

• Cheap feeling; very dirty.

“CONS: overall cheap $30 hotel feel: mildew on bathtub, cheap skin-drying soap, stained countertops (toothpaste, makeup, lipstick? in our case), awful mattress, dingy 100 thread count sheets (I thought all hotels have at least 300 thread count by now?), very thin floors so request upstairs! PROS: cheap, in a decent area of town, somewhat close to ski areas (< 45min).”

• Close to my business.
• Broken bed, mold in bath, kitchenette dirty.

“Although the staff was courteous and friendly the room was in disrepair. Bed was broken and the heater was excessively noisy.”

• The price.
• The bed was worn out, there was black stuff on the air-conditioning unit vents, and the vinyl was coming up.

“The price was fantastic. It was not noisy even though it was next to a freeway. But hard to get to, lobby rug was dirty and needed vacuumed. There was a drawer knob missing, a rip in the carpet. The air conditioning unit had black stuff on the vents.”

• It was quite considering how close to the freeway it was.
• The room was run down and the lobby rug dirty.

“Nice price but room needed TLC. Flooring coming up between carpet and kitchen, tear in carpet, front of heating cooling unit was dirty with black things in the vents. Hard to get to, when you get off the main road.”

• The in room kitchen.
• The bathroom was very dirty, toothpaste in sink, mud in tub and on floor.

“The hotel is hard to get to as there is a median running the length of the main road. If you miss the one small entrance that is not marked you have to go about 4 blocks to get turned back around. There is shopping close by and plenty of restaurants. The bathroom was very dirty and as was the kitchen. Toothpaste in the sink, mud on the tub and floor and the kitchen counters looked as if they had been wiped down with a dirty rag. There was still food in the fridge also. Normally I have had good luck with homestead suites but this one definitely needed to do some training of their housekeepers.”

• Room was not clean and fixtures were falling off the wall.

“The room did not appear to be cleaned after the last guest (dirty rags and bottles still in room). Room fixtures were coming off the walls. Location was a bit sketchy. For the price, it was an okay hotel. Quiet, no frills.”

• The location.
• Cleanliness, broken glass outside the door and in the carpet inside, when reported nothing happened. We cleaned it up ourselves.

• The room was great; the kitchen was great the bed was comfortable.
• The sign for the hotel should be a bit bigger and more visible.

“The hotel was great with having a kitchen that came in handy. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.”

• They had a kitchenette.
• Dirty, no soap or other commodities.

“The directions to motel are completely wrong. We were 56 blocks off. The motel is set back off the street with no lighting-hard to find. Very small and dirty. For the same price we could have stayed at a different hotel. I called ahead and requested 2 beds, and when we arrived, they had forgot to give us 2 beds and were out of roll-always. My children had to sleep in chairs and on the floor. ”

• Poorly trained staff in costumer service skills, especially evening staff that was on duty when I checked in.

“Nice location. Leaves a lot to be desired as far as cleanliness of the kitchen and bath areas are concerned. Staff did not listen to important information that was communicated at check-in and a problem was created that was quite annoying to deal with.”

“Shower floor is dirty. No faucet in the laundry for washing hands. We will not go back here again. Sugar House is a much better choice than the one in Redwood. ”

• The keys didn't work, twice. He didn't come to the door after hours for our son who was 13. I had to go get the man to get our geyser to work.

“This was a bit too far from SLC. We would not pick Mid Valley again, if we had the chance. Our keys wouldn't work two different times. Once at check in and once at midnight when we returned to the room. I didn't care for the man at the desk. He wasn't concerned with our problems and wasn't quick to help either.”
