• Great, friendly staff.
• Mini bar not stocked. No condiments for coffee.

“Very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Spa was very nice. Sorry I could only stay one night.”

• Beautiful surroundings, clean, exceptionally friendly staff.
• Parking arrangement very difficult.

“Beautiful, up-scale hotel facility. Staff very helpful and friendly. Most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel in years. Grounds well maintained. Amazingly quiet and peacefully considering proximity to freeway. Make sure to take your camera. Excellent food at restaurant. Prices a bit high but worth it.”

• Room was big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I was very impressed with the room and thought it was well worth the money.
• We did not have full use of the water park.

“We loved our stay here. We went during the off season in Sept so there were no crowds. Our only complaint was that the Oasis water park was only half open. The wave pool was open but not the river nor the slides. We had dinner at the Rustlers Roost. The restaurant was not crowded and we had a terrific waiter.”

• Loved the water park and the resort feel to it.
• The daily resort fee, as we did not use the resort everyday.

“I did not like the fact that the $25 resort fee was charged nightly whether you used it or not. The water park should just be part of the nightly fee, and charge for just the parking. $25/day is high for a couple of water slides.”

• I loved going to a resort. It was a great weekend! Not all resorts that are family friendly too.
• The resort fee. I felt a little nickel and dimmed. The food was expensive.

“The resort was well maintained and nice. I felt a little nickel and dimmed, that everything I used might cost me extra! I recommend it, especially for families with 2 children or less, as you have to buy more wristbands to go to the water park for another 25.00. I have more than 2 children. I loved the weight room. I could have spent the whole day there trying out the many pieces of equipment, but we had to go.”

• The water park is great for the kids and family.
• The pavers are too hot inside the water park area. You could not walk around barefoot and needed to take on and off your footwear.

• Convenient location. Great water park.
• Parking poor due to construction at hotel. Noise on Saturday morning from construction.

“Clean hotel, convenient location. Great food at the water park. Not for weekend romantic getaway or for business traveler. Lots of kids during summer. Construction took up much of the hotel parking, very inconvenient to have to park on a side street. There was construction noise early Saturday morning around 6 am.”

• The lobby was great. The greeting from the staff was over the top. May be because of the basketball tournament crowd also. Phantom Horse Grill was best.
• The walk ways and stairs were less that very clean. Broken glass did not get cleaned up for days.

“I approached with a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor. All went well and even received 2 extra wrist bands for the water park.”

• The Oasis Waterpark was great fun!
• For a 5 star resort, the room was a bit lacking - the paint was chipping in the bathroom and bathtub stained.

“We went to this resort for the Oasis Waterpark. It was great fun for the kids. The restaurant that we chose was awful though. It took an almost 90 minutes to bring us our order and the band was extremely loud. Not a good restaurant choice for kids.”

• Due do the fact that we arrived in the evening and were checking out early the next morning, they waived the resort fee.
• They had a resort fee on top, which we were not made aware while check-in!

“We were in the very back corner of the grounds. It was quiet even though we were next to the freeway. The rooms were clean, but not as luxurious as we'd imagined. The bathroom was extremely small. You had to wiggle your way around the toilet to close the bathroom door. Overall a good resort, but a bit overpriced for what we got.”

• Too big.

“The first night we had to change rooms because we were given the old smelly part that had not been remodeled, but we couldnt change till the morning, once we changed the next day as we were unpacking, and someone else came in our room thinking it was there, that night we were locked out of our room, sun night we wanted to watch a movie and couldnt because too many other people were watching. The maids didnt clean up our room one day and in the early morning the kept coming in our room and knocking and knocking for room service.”

• The rooms decor/comfortable beds/great water park for kids!
• The size is pretty massive so getting around the hotel requires a lot of walking.

“The rooms were recently decorated-beautiful. The beds were so comfy and the rooms very quiet us all slept great. The water park was the biggest hit with the kids-can spend a full day there. The size of the complex is very large so you do a lot of walking to get around. Because of the size, I would recommend this for business travelers or families-but not for a quiet get-away. There are some great scenic hiking paths near by. The sports facility is top notch.”

• The accommodations were extremely attractive and comfortable. The amenities were fabulous.

• Huge! Facilities I didn't even get to use.
• Needs more parking and currently constructing, so some dirt and disruption.

“Just off the highway, so very accessible. Gigantic! The suites are nice to have - although I wish the fridge was empty, and not stocked like a mini-bar. Great water park and pools!”

• Automatic fee for water park, even if you didn't use it.

“The Arizona Grand is a great family hotel. Water park with wave pool, a river float, slides, ball and volleyball. Clean rooms, comfy beds, good water pressure if you want it on the shower heads.”
