“I thought charging $8.00 per person for breakfast was a bit extreme, when there were many restaurants around that charged less. The convenience of having a fridge in the room was lessened by the lack of a microwave. Despite the downfalls, I would stay again just for the great night sleep on a comfortable mattress.”

“It was a very pleasant hotel in a great location. My only complaint was that our room did not have a refrigerator and I have diabetes medication which requires refrigeration. I had to buy an ice chest in which to store it while I was in the area.”

“They were a good hotel up until the moment I checked out. I would recommend that you stay at another hotel.”

“Our room was comfortable, but was more of an economy hotel. The breakfast was not included as we originally were told and there was not an outdoor pool in the hotel as the website says. We could of stayed elsewhere with a breakfast provided for less. The room was clean though.”

“Close to shopping, restaurants, and downtown which provide a clean, friendly atmosphere for any traveler. Marriot standards are highly evident and comfort is not sacrificed. Business and family amenities are available as pool, spa, courtyard, conference rooms, and room service. Well worth the price.”

“Very discouraging. But, on the flip side, I could not get a room with them this last weekend, so I stayed at LaQuinta. That was the first and last time that will ever happen. I would have to be pretty desperate to try that one again!”

“The hotel was in the process of being remodeled. The staff was pleasant, helpful and attentive to details. The pool/exercise area was clean and well equipped.”

“Solid business hotel with very nice bedding and bathroom. In the process of being remodeled so rooms are fresh but some common areas (hallways) are currently a bit of a mess. Some traffic noise from nearby I 15. Overall a nice hotel in a good location and a good value.”

“The hotel was in a great location, in walking distance to great restaurants and shopping centers, but they were remodeling, it looked very unprofessional, they had a sheet hanging over the front desk that you had to move to talk to anyone, the hall was ripped up, we woke up to the sound of hammers next door. Our room was ok, it looked pretty clean unless you looked out the window, there were chips and cigarette butts all over the patio. I don't think I would stay there again. I was surprised a Marriott would be that way.”

“This hotel is going through a remodeling. The floors walls in the hallways and lobby were torn up and look terrible. The heater in the room was falling apart. If I had known of the remodeling I would not stat there.”

“The Courtyard in Layton treated us as second class since we didn't pay full price for our hotel room. They quoted us one price for the buffet on the night we checked in and than charged us more the next morning. They didn't let us know the full charge until we were half way through our meal. When we told the staff that we were quoted a different amount, they simply stated that there wasn't anything they could do since we didn't pay full price for our hotel night. I asked for a manager to call me and never heard from them. I called again when we returned home and the desk clerk said she'd get a message to the manager and have her call me again, but she never called. Very poor customer service!!!”

“Very nice place located by the freeway for easy access and around a lot of good restaurants. The beds were comfortable and very nice rooms. The pool and spa were nice, breakfast was good, and the hotel staff were very kind and courteous. Great place to stay and highly recommend it!”

“After booking my room I called to make sure I had 2 queen beds and they assured me I did. When I checked in there was a king bed and a couch. I had 3 kids with me and two barely fit on the couch. The roll-a-ways were already sold out. Not a good experience after being assured I had 2 queen beds. I wasn't impressed with no continental breakfast either.”

“I would definitely stay there again. The hotel was beautifully decorated and in a very convenient easy to find location. The beds were very comfortable with a ton of feather pillows on each bed. They didn't offer continental breakfast, but there was a breakfast buffet for an extra charge. But there is great restaurant all around. I didn't mind eating elsewhere, but if you had to pay there regular price for a room breakfast should definitely be offered for free.”
