• It was very pleasant atmosphere.

“It was great. My children loved. It was very clean and everyone was very nice. Great atmosphere for families.”

• The guard left the pool open late.
• Breakfast was all gone before 7am and it ended at 9am.

“The breakfast staff was extremely rude and wouldn't work with anyone. they ran out of food before breakfast was over and my husband wanted a juice and it was 10 minutes before 9am when it ended and the lady shut the machine off and told him to bad and walked off.”

• Good location from our destination.
• The hotel staff and room was terrible. They treated us very poorly!

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The room that they placed us in had many problems and when we attempt to speak to the staff they treated us like we were a bother.”

• Close to interstate.
• Old interior smelled.

“Didn't have clean towels at the pool. Lobby staff was never around. The only elevator in the hotel broke down. The only thing that I would recommend about this hotel is it's proximity to 'Famous Daves' (can walk home after having too much Utah beer) and interstate.”

• Clean room.
• Hot tub was hot! Not impressive pool area.

“This was my second La Quinta in two nights. The first one was terrible (St Louis airport). This made the Layton one look good. Layton was clean and pleasant. This being my first La Quinta experience, I thought it was going to be a little bit more upscale.”

• Front desk very nice and friendly.
• It was filthy and stunk of cigarette smoke.

“Will not stay there again! Needs to be updated pool cleaned and area surrounding it, thoroughly cleaned and carpets replaced.”

• La Quinta is conveniently located to a shopping mall, and other stores.
• Very dirty, with mold in the bathtub.

“This motel needs updating. The room was OK, the bathroom was not, nor was the hallways and stairways. Before I'd stay here again, I would need to know they addressed these issues.”

• They tried to make us satisfied when we told them about the sheets. Hotel was full couldn't change rooms.
• Room was dirty.

“Perhaps they forgot to clean the room we stayed in. The floor had not been vacuumed and when we turned down the covers of the bed it looked like the sheets hadn't been changed. I have stayed in this inn many times and this is the first time I have had any problems with it being not clean. There was a courtesy call to ask if the room was ok. When we complained they came right up and changed the sheets.”

• The entire floor smelled like smoke. Back door security broken!

“The hotel did not smell pleasant when we walked in. The pool was not open and kids were disappointed. Our friends staying next door had a very dirty bathroom they had to clean again themselves. The back door to the hotel was not locked and we could not get into our hotel room. We had to sit in the hall for about 15-20 minutes to get that resolved.”

• Right off a major freeway exit.
• Parking lot was dirty.

“This is a fine clean and modern hotel, easy to find, with easy freeway access.”

• Low amenities, poor planning at breakfast.

“Clean, roomy, but breakfast was not well prepared. No plain hot water for packets, main floor public bathroom being cleaned and shut off for our entire breakfast. Could not wash children's or my hands.”

• It was close to the location we needed.
• The beds were not very good and there were things in disrepair in the room.

“The hotel was okay for the price but I would not stay there with my family again. The beds were not very comfortable and there were things in the room that needed repaired. Some of the lights did not work and there were not enough outlets for our use.”
