Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • Friendly and efficient staff with a nice reception area including internet.
  • Beds very uncomfortable.

“Best Western High Country is conveniently accessible to main roads and Interstate. Even so, we found it quiet and also clean. The only drawback was that the beds in our unit most definitely need replacing.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[1] • Location:[10]

  • Very nicely kept up.

“Hotel was great. Then when we checked out they charged us a wrong amount for an extra day and we had to call management from our home to straighten it out because reception didn't know how to fix it.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • The staff was very friendly and helpful.
  • None.

“The rooms were basic, but very comfortable. Jeremiah's, the associated restaurant, was exceptional. The location is a little far out for Downtown Ogden, but is still reasonably convenient.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • The park behind the hotel was very pretty.
  • The trains going by all night and the rooms were small.

“Not impressed with the small rooms. The fold out bed was comfortable for my kids but an adult would not sleep well on it. The trains going by all night and honking were very distracting.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • It had a couch to sit on in the room.
  • The pool was closed.

“It had a restaurant in the same parking lot that had great food. The rooms were clean and plenty of room to move around so you didn't feel cramped.”

May 31, 2007 by Dena from Aurora, CO
Overall Rating: 5 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[4] • Location:[9]

  • Free access to a PC with Internet in lobby
  • Ran out of hot water; no tea available in lobby.

“Proximity to freeway and major street convenient, but not enough sound insulation made it noisy. Window heat/ac units seemed underpowered. Lobby offers free coffee & hot chocolate but not tea. Plumbing problems included hot/cold reversed in shower, not enough hot water, sink plug not properly installed. Restaurant was very nice, good food, good service, unusual gifts in shop. Not enough parking for hotel guests when restaurant is busy.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[3] • Location:[3]

  • It was convenient to the highway.
  • It was shabby, the bed was really bad, overall gloomy.

“This hotel was drab and the staff seemed tired. I waited for 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast in the restaurant. When I called the front desk, the button that said "front desk", led to a sleeping woman in room 110. All in all, I was very happy to pack up and leave.”

Jul 16, 2006 by Robert from Boise, ID
Overall Rating: 3 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The location was suitable for my travel.
  • Inadequate bed, bathroom, air conditioning. We left it after one night on our return trip--forfeiting our paid second night.

“Low quality bed, bathroom, and air conditioning make its star rating seem rather high and the price rather high.”
