“Room was nice, service was not. Shuttle to airport was late. Did not give Embassy a good name.”

“Wow. Do not stay here unless you feel like you want to be slain. Seriously! Pool is the only nice thing about this hotel. Front desk staff awful, they will go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome.”

“Excellent free breakfast, enjoyed free cocktails, nice pool area. Lobby was nothing special and the location wasn't the greatest. We would definitely stay there again!”

“I severely over paid for such a bad hotel. Embassy Suite should be ashamed.”

“Very nice room and close to the airport. I didn't get to spend any time in the courtyard and pool, yet it looked beautiful and so peaceful.”

“This room was a suite with a living room and small kitchen and separate bedroom. Very spacious and comfortable. The free hot breakfast was made to order including omelets, french toast, pancakes, all kinds of cereals, fruit, rolls, and danish. I couldn't think of anything missing there. It was great! Location was convenient to all major highways in Phoenix. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to Phoenix.”

“I read the reviews before we stayed here for my husbands business meetings that were all ready booked at this hotel. I was taken back by some of the reviews about the hotel. Once at the hotel, I was pleased to see that it was actually better than the Ritz Carlton that we stayed in 2 years earlier! I felt very comfortable at the hotel and also around it. I actually walked all the way to the Biltmore shopping center 4 miles away. I did not feel it was in a shady part of town nor did I feel uncomfortable walking this far. I come from a small town of around 600 and I never once felt insecure. It was very clean and updates (ex. painting, cleaning outside and etc.) were being done every day we were there. The pool area was very clean and neat. Rooms were better than at the Ritz. The made to cook breakfast and the restaurant was awesome and reasonably priced. I would recommend and stay here again! ”

“Long ways from the airport. Felt unsafe around this hotel. The swimming pool garden area was not enclosed. Very hot and humid. Reminds me of a motel rather than a hotel. Building and furniture were dated. Place was taken over by unruly clients leaving doors open, a fight at the pool, someone cut hair and we had to walk through it, fire alarm went off several times throughout the night. Airport shuttle was OK. Air Conditioner worked OK. Didn't try the breakfast. ”

“My worries were confirmed when I was told this property was one of the original Embassy Suites built in the early 1970s. The shuttle service from the airport was satisfactory. After checking in, we had to take our bags into the open air atrium. It was noisy, congested, hot, and humid. On the way to our room, we passed many rooms with open doors and from 6 to 8 people lounging and partying. We had to walk through some piles of hair on the upper level balcony walkway. We watched several occupants cutting hair and sweeping the hair off the balcony to the garden/pool area below. My room smelled like cigarette smoke. My son came back from the pool early because of a fight that broke out among others. The open garden/pool area was unbearable from heat and humidity. The gas torches burning didn't help. The garden sprinklers sprayed water on your legs. The alarm clock didn't work. The smoke alarms went off repeatedly from 11 PM until midnight. We missed the breakfast as our flight left early. The property does have free wireless Internet. The bedroom was roomy and the beds were ok. The bathroom was not as private as it was located in the bedroom. I would choose another hotel before coming back here. ”

“Semi-industrial neighborhood near older restaurants, hotel was clean and room was comfortable. But room windows appeared old and unsafe as they open directly to outside. Ideal for business traveler.”

“An older property that was fine for a one night stop over. Close to airport but neighborhood a little rundown. Wouldn't be a place you would want to vacation at.”

“Although the neighborhood you go thru to get to this hotel is not the best, the hotel has extremely nice and clean. All the room open to a courtyard that is very secure. I did feel a little uncomfortable when I add to park in the back of the lot. There needs to be some more lighting. The cook to order breakfast was an unexpected surprise and the cafe was clean and the staff very nice. They had soft drinks along with the normal juices. I would stay here again but would try to park closer to the front door. There were also a lot of groups of kids staying there that I saw but never heard.”
