• The room was not clean & staff made no apology or offer to compensate.

• The room had a pretty view and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The hot tub looked clean but when we used it there was a light film of something on the bubbles. There was spots on the carpet.

“I was a little worried about staying here due to the previous reviews. I asked for a non smoking room and that no pets had been in it. Our room was nice and roomy with a pretty view of the falls. Our bed was very comfortable and service was good. There was a few spots on the carpet and the sauna needs to be cleaned.”

“A front desk manager or whatever made me wait more than 10 minutes, while he was on the phone for something else. Was annoyed all night due to skanky smells. The most unpleasant experience I have experienced.”

• Excellent location in Idaho Falls.
• Low WiFi signal. Poor rooms in the motel-type wing.

“The tower (with suites) probably has better rooms. Rooms however are at the motel-style wing and are barely 1-star standard. Exterior corridors; sink in the room (outside of toilet). Most 2-stars are much better quality than this. In the motel wing the WiFi signal level is low to very low. Positives: great location, tons of restaurants within walking distance, 24 hour gym.”

• The overall experience was great.
• The internet was very weak in the room.

“It was a very nice room. Clean. Plenty of parking, and near the rooms. The only bad thing was the internet signal was very week and I needed to work online. Didn't get much done because of that. Overall though, it was a good experience.”

• The view toward the falls were very nice.
• They did not check the lights in the room. Several bulbs were not working and my wife had to reclean some of the areas.

“It was not bad for the price. It seems to be an older hotel and they are trying to make it look good. Maybe a little extra care in cleaning and checking that everything in the room works. Coffee pot was full of water because it was not working so that told me the maid did not check or attempt to even clean it or she would have known it was full of water. Which lets be believe she did not clean around the area of the coffee pot or water would have sloshed out like it did with us.”

• The main hotel was very nice and part of the staff was friendly.

“The main hotel was very nice, but the staff members were somewhat snobby. The rooms were newly refurbished and at first glance they were nice. Then we got into the room and there were stains on the chairs upholstery and holes in the sheets. Also, my feet stuck to the shower when I got in it to wash.”

• Very attractive big rooms. Beautiful views of the falls.
• One of the beds had been disturbed. Old soap in the soap dish.

“I loved this hotel. It has been given a first class upgrade. Ask for a tower room and on the side were the Falls are. Very clean.”

• Bed was disturbed after being made. Used soup in tray in shower.

“The best hotel we stayed in during our week long trip. Beautiful view from the big balcony of our room. The room was beautifully refinished. Room was very clean.”

• Location: very nice setting by the Falls (Idaho Falls).
• It's showing some wear and tear due to age of property.

“Overall my stay was pleasant but the king size bedding was way too soft to my liking. I will be staying here again in the future.”

• Too small and can hear the steps from up stairs.

“We stayed at the lodge. Very small for three people. The pull out sofa squeezed the frame. I can hear clearly the feet steps from upstairs.”

“We were pool side. This was a very bad experience. Coffee left in pot from prior people. Toilet did not flush if another room was in the shower. Fighting out by pool. You can hear every movement from the people upstairs so when they are up you are up even if you need sleep! The lock did not work!”

“Probably the nicest 2 star hotel I've ever stayed at; should be 3 stars. The beds are comfortable, the showers are large and clean, the microwave and refrigerator are very convenient. Only drawbacks are, it was a bit loud and our room smelled (though we've stayed here before and never had that problem).”
