  • Nice rooms.
  • Water main broke did not have water from approx. 4pm to 8am no showers, no toilets nothing.

“Besides the water situation, I had to kill a cockroach. I will say the hotel did give us a $100 consideration for the hotel due to the water. We ordered from the restaurant/dine in menu. We had sword fish and NY steak approx. $80 meal. The main dish was good however the sides were minimal. Even after asking to eliminate one side for double veggies. Very small portion for the cost.”

  • The pools were a hit with the kids. The 2nd room was a hit for us as parents.
  • Complicated to get to our room. We got lost.

“Would recommend the main hotel as it is close to all the amenities.”

  • The dining could have been better.

“Overall a great place to stay for romance or fun with lots of to do.”

  • Fantastic pool area, especially for small children.
  • Dirty carpet in room, it didn't look dirty, but our socks turned black from walking on it.

“Fabulous hotel, convenient location (practically in the middle of the city, not way off in the mountains), and very beautiful. Lots of pools, with separate pool areas for little kids and big kids. We didn't play golf or tennis, but the facilities for both looked excellent.”

  • The first night was not good- the room had too small of bed, but the next morning they changed our room with no problems at all.
  • We went for second honey moon time and they put us in a room where the bed was just a little too small for us :( but, they fixed it.

“The hotel was wonderful as a whole. We went there for time away and kind of a second honeymoon, because our schedules are so busy we needed time alone to reconnect. The first night there was not a good one, cause the bed in our room was not big enough for us and so we spent part of the night in separate beds and that is not good for reconnecting, but, the next morning when my husband went down to talk to them about it, they switched us right away. :) Just wish we had gone down the night before. They were very nice about it. It was a beautiful place and our room was very nice!”

  • The physical beauty and water park.
  • Breakfast in the restaurant was poor.

“Wonderful desert resort. Very relaxing. Nice access to hiking trails. Enjoyable pools and water areas. Room was clean and pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast in restaurant was very unremarkable, especially for the high cost.”

  • Great pool facilities, cozy room.
  • Parking not great, road ways very narrow.

“Tapito is great, have stayed there before will go back again.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Interesting setting; nice pools; convenient for area north of Phoenix.
  • Terrible, overpriced breakfast buffet. Tough roads and parking.

“The rooms, the unique location and the variety of pools and walking areas make this a great get away destination. My only minor complaints were the difficulty with the narrow roads and lack of easy access parking. The one meal we had was poor, but we didn't really give the restaurants a fair test as we ate off the premises except for that disappointing breakfast.”

  • Pools.
  • Fee for use of the health club, AC really noisy.

“It was about 10 miles from downtown and in a great location. Really nice pools and beautiful grounds. Staff was really helpful.”

  • Pools were open 24 hours. That's hard to find.
  • I have always loved this place.

“This is a great resort to visit for both a family vacation as well as a business trip.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Very friendly staff, especially in the restaurants. Overall great resort.
  • Jacuzzi/Pools were not as heated as I would have expected.

“My son (12 yrs old) and I booked a last minute getaway and the Resort ended up being his favorite part of the trip. The resort is well organized, very large, but not overwhelming. Would recommend it for anyone wishing to 'treat' themselves to luxury in a more relaxed atmosphere.”

  • Lots of room, great bed.
  • Limited parking.

“Hotel was great. Plenty of room in suite. Only downer was no microwave or fridge. I was there for a week and could have really used those amenities. Other then that, very comfortable, would def stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Unique mountainside property with a fantastic pool area, great views, and large rooms. Staff was friendly and responsive.
  • Some rooms have limited nearby parking, and some have lots of traffic passing by.

“A stay at this hotel can be great if you get the right room. The "Mountainside Suites" are the best bet for views and less noise. The roads and sidewalks leading to them are very steep in places, but there are also elevators and bridges between buildings everywhere. The "Falls" pool area is very large for the number of rooms in the property so it never felt crowded at all. There is plenty of parking, but depending on the location of the room there may not be a lot of spaces nearby. The property's location in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve is great for a resort with many hiking trails nearby.”

  • Had all the amenities I was looking for.
  • Pool hours were restrictive.

“Enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. However, if there was one thing that can be improved upon is the hours that the more popular pools are available. These pools closed at 8:00 pm that seems to be too early for people with kids and a long list of things to do during the day.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[6] •

  • The bell staff and valet service!
  • The grounds are old and not kept up nicely, the rooms had a musty smell, the tile in the bathroom needs to be regrouted, etc.

“I reminds me of a 2 or 3 star hotel in Mexico, which I do not consider to be a compliment.”

  • Excellent for family vacation.
  • No breakfast restaurant.

“The hotel was excellent for our family. It had great activities for the kids. Our room was located perfectly across from the Falls Village and across from the family pool. The Pointe in Tyme Restaurant was listed as a Tavern and Grill which as a bit deceiving as it was much more of a formal restaurant then the casual atmosphere we were expecting and it was a bit pricey. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • The landscape around the resort is beautiful! The beds were very comfortable and the water facilities were great for adults and kids.
  • No bathroom fans. Also our standard room overlooked the laundry facility that did not have an awning covering it from view.

“Everything is great at this resort. The water facilities are great for adults and kids whether its a family or romantic vacation. The rooms were excellent from a flat screen television to comfortable beds this was a great place to stay.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Conveniently located, several restaurants including Starbucks in the lobby were great!
  • Only problem was room service was delayed but didn't charge us.

“Great place to stay with a family, group or singles. Would go back- great area and access to freeways and conveniently located.”
