Richfield is in the heart of one of the most scenic places on earth midway between Los Angeles and Denver on Interstate 70.
Just a few hours away are seven national parks: Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Great Basin, Capitol Reef and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Part of Sevier's Cathederal Valley lies in Capitol Reef National Park. The Indians called it the "Land of the Sleeping Rainbow." A well-established crossroads of the West, evidence exists that travelers have used the valley for over 7,000 years. An ideal place to spend the night or a week while discovering the scenic wonders of Utah! Richfield sits at an altitude of 1 mile and is surrounded by mountains on three sides that peak out over 11,000 feet. Yet served by modern interstate and broad two lane highways provides easy access into and out of the valley. The views are stunning as night turns into day and day into night. The Best Western Apple Tree Inn is located off Exit 37 or 40 off Interstate 70 right in the middle of town. Over half of our 62 rooms feature a firm king-sized bed from Spring Air. Other rooms have queen-size beds and all of our double beds are of the long variety, same length as a queen with double bed width. We even have some two-room units for families or just to have more room. Most vehicle parking is right at your door making it very convenient to transporting your luggage and just keeping your auto close by. We also have a very large well-lit area suitable for rigs as large as several semi trucks on the property. If you are trailering anything we have the space for a secure night. There are also electrical hookups for those needing them. Parking is of course free.[less]

Cheap.
Couldn't find staff at front desk, had to call them.
“The hotel was easy to find and cheap. The hotel staff was never at the front desk, we had to call via phone to get service (check in). The maid staff was great and friendly.”
