  • Free WiFi internet and almost quiet.
  • Weird people around the hotel and bad connections to the city of Phoenix.

“My room was okay. The only thing I complain about is that it smelled like cigarette smoke all the time. The reason for this was the air shaft in the bathroom. It seemed to be connected with the neighbor's apartment and someone was smoking in there all the time. The room in general was clean, but I had roaches which ran through the bathroom and over the kitchen. That was disgusting! The location is good. There are food stores and a gas station. Also Burger king and McDonald's is only a few footsteps away. If you plan to go downtown, make sure to rent a car! Otherwise it's nearly impossible to go there, because public transportation is very bad in Phoenix. There were some weird people at the hotel, especially at night. Most people who stay at this hotel seem to be inhabitants. Next time I go to Phoenix, I would choose another hotel. This one is okay, but not suitable for staying longer than a few nights.”

  • I love the idea of having a full kitchen service.

“Hotel and the service was the best! I love the room and all the commodities (microwave, stove, refrigerator and even including the dishes) it was a pleasant stay I'm ready to spend all week in this hotel for sure I'll stay in your hotel anytime and any were I'll travel.”

  • It was near where I conducted business.
  • The hooker knocking on my door offering services.

“Overall, the hotel was nice, well kept, well lighted. It is in a highly used street walker and homeless people area.”

  • Friendly, helpful staff.
  • Room smelled of cigarette smoke, mattress was very lumpy and hard.

“Staff was friendly and helpful, didn't have wake up service, room was very used and didn't smell good.”

  • Location to highway access.
  • No non-smoking rooms available at time of stay.

“The hotel is very good for a 1 star rating, needs better beds as they are not very soft (hard on the back) the access to the highways are good and plenty of places close to eat, and corner stores very close. Over all this is a good value for the price.”

  • Nothing.
  • Very dirty.

“Carpet in room was dirty and had a foul smell in it. Outside did not look very welcoming or safe.”

  • The location off the freeway.
  • The smell in the room.

“Had issues getting back into the room the second day they changed the card lock and the desk clerk was out so I had to wait over an hour to get back into my room.”

  • The hotel was conveniently located right off of I-1O.
  • Very small rooms, location was around other hotels but lots of homeless, day laborers.

“The hotel was conveniently located right off of a main highway. But the location was very loud, lots of music, young people lurching around in parking lots and around the rooms. We saw many homeless in the area. Would not stay here with a family.”

“The hotel was good for the price. It was close to our location and provided what we needed. The room smelled like smoke and was a non-smoking room.”

  • I liked the kitchenette, the bathroom was large and clean.
  • As it was an extended stay hotel, some of the other guests were scarey and I did not feel comfortable or safe at this location.

“Nice kitchenette and bathroom, bed was hard as a rock and the other guests a little scarey. There was only one volumne level on the TV, which was fairly inaudable. Convenient location, but fairly seedy.”

  • Clean and nicely located to may event.
  • Had to pay 9.95 a day for internet service other hotel its free.

“The Hilton Hotel at the Airport was a nice clean well maintained hotel it is the standard I have come to expect for this hotel chain and this time was no exception. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one who is interested in a clean room and a bathroom. The only thing that I didn't like was the 9.95 per day charge for the internet I have stayed at other 3 star hotels and the internet was complementary other than that I would rate this hotel very highly.”

  • The young man at the desk was very pleasant and accommodating.
  • It was a bad neighborhood - there were several dirty looking men leaking around the second floor. There was garbage in the stair wells and grounds.

“The rooms were small - there was a coffee pot but no coffee - no hair dryer - no iron and the carpet was dirty. I am sorry to say it was not a very pleasant stay and I will never stay there again.”

  • Kitchen facilities.
  • We were given handicapped room and for two people, a double bed (would prefer queen).

“The room was small - but adequate efficiency kitchen. The double bed in the center of room left little space around it. Good location and parking. I took my spouse along with me and I should have chosen a larger space - but did not know how large the room was or whether the bed was big enough. Traveling alone, it would have been fine.”

  • Close to where I had to attend a class.
  • It's an extended stay hotel did not feel safe and was not clean.

“Extended stay hotel. Off Main highway, needed better lighting. Bed not comfortable (like cheap motel). Bedding did not look clean or sanitary. I slept in chair all night and covered with my coat with TV on. I asked for directions to class and was promised I would get the map quest directions delivered to my room. Never received them. 1st floor room so you can hear people on either side and above.”

  • It was very reasonably priced for what you got.
  • Had to call the front desk several times for missing or broken stuff.

“Conveniently located, good value for the price, comfortable, room missing items like waste basket and batteries in remote control. No ice machine available and little fridge in room did not get cold enough to make ice cubes in a little ice tray.”
