  • Location and friendly staff.
  • The restaurant was way overpriced. The food was average at best and inexperienced staff was disappointing.

“The staff was very nice. The service I received upon check in was on par with any 4 star hotels I've stayed at in the last couple of years. Had to take a cold shower the first morning. Not good considering it was 30 degrees outside. The restaurant was terrible. Way overpriced for the quality of food and service. The wait staff wasn't familiar with the menu. The food took quite a long time to come out.”

  • Location.

“I didn't mind not having elevator but my husband did, since he carried our luggage.”

  • Close to the town.
  • The pool was not working for one day of our stay.

“This hotel was very convenient and fit our needs well.”

  • nothing
  • front desk seemed to ignore requests for anything

“The workers ignored my request to fix toilet until second day there. We had to use the restroom by the swimming pool. We left a nice tip for housekeeping the first night. We asked for a small bottle of shampoo. The money was gone but no shampoo. Could the housekeeper speak English? Maybe not. Each time I went to the front desk, I had to stand there for ever befor I was asked what I wanted. Very unfriendly front desk. Once I contacted the maintainence man myself about the toilet, he got his tools and fixed it immediately. Good job. I will never stay at this hotel again.”

  • Friendly,clean.
  • Restaurant too expensive, not as close to canyon as advertise.

“Very friendly staff, would've liked to have fridge and microwave in room.”

  • It had a nice breakfast, and the hot tub was great after hiking the canyon.
  • The stairwell carpets needed cleaning.

“The hotel was not elegant, but suitable for all our needs, and otherwise clean and serviceable. I would stay there again.”

  • Very little.
  • Dirty, unhelpful and incompetent staff.

“This was, without hesitation, the worst hotel stay I've ever had. He then gave a smoking room after we requested a non smoking room. He had to call the manager to switch our rooms because he admittedly didn't know how to work their computer system. We then literally ran to our room, as the smell of smoke and urine in the hallways was overpowering. The room itself was what I would expect, clean and comfortable. On our second night, they mistakenly checked someone else into our hotel room, who walked in while we were about to fall asleep.”

  • It had a bar/restaurant on-site.
  • It was older and not very clean.

“For the price and getting it from Priceline I felt it was not a good value or a very nice hotel. Not too clean or maintained.”

“The hotel was nice, but the office attendant was very short, irritable, and just unfriendly. She was the only thing that made the visit a bad experience. I truly don't know why she was so hateful, but I would recommend they talk to her and have her learn how to deal with people.”

  • Close to attraction.
  • No safe in room.

“Nice hotel, close to railway station, right off the interstate, so easy to find. friendly staff, very quiet, and a nice cozy lobby. Also has indoor pool and jacuzzi.”

  • Nothing.
  • A
    lot.

“Room is decent size, but the smell was bad. The smell was everywhere, except for the lobby. Bed was not comfortable at all. Carpet was very old.”

  • Bar located within hotel.
  • Needs an elevator for the elderly or disadvantaged.

“This hotel is one of the best in the small town of Williams, Arizona. Everything is within the hotel, a souvenir shop, a restaurant, and a bar.”

  • Great location next to Interstate but no road noise.
  • Room was a little basic.

“Great location for all the attractions in Williams, not a upscale motel just the basics.”

  • Room is really good and very clean.
  • Nothing in special.

“Hotel is nice place to stay while visiting scenic beauty places like Grand canyon. Room is very spacious which nice beds and there is swimming pool as well which I didn't use during my stay.”

  • On the way to the Grand Canyon, but that's just about it.
  • The smell of the hotel, nothing around it but a pizza hut and a jack in the box, oh and a Gas Station.

“I guess if you just wanted a place to crash at the end of long day on the road then this place might do the job. However I was really disappointed with this hotel I expected more from a Holiday Inn. I would not recommend this place to a friend. It is not well insulated; we woke up every time someone used the shower next door, and it smelled funny!”

  • Location and friendly and helpful staff.
  • Seemed dated and shabby.

“The rooms could use some updating. The air-conditioner smelled like it was burning and the carpet was worn out in places.”

  • Beds and linens were very nice.
  • The hallway outside our non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

“Room was clean, beds were very comfortable with lots of nice pillows. Towels were big and soft. Staff was helpful. We had a non-smoking room which was great, but the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel does not have an elevator, so I requested a ground floor room with no problem. We used the hot tub the first night we were there, it could have been a tad warmer, but it was still nice anyway. We ate the breakfast buffet, and unless you are a huge eater, it's probably best to order off the menu instead. We ate dinner twice there and the food was pretty good. They had live music which was nice. I would stay here again.”

  • Free WiFi.
  • We were forced to take rooms with one king bed.

“We asked for double beds but was forced to take rooms with one king bed. We were told that the hotel only has rooms with king beds, but with their free WiFi service.”
