• Towels.
• Dirty rooms, non working phones, not standard 3 star.

“This hotel is not a 3 star hotel. We had to change rooms because of dirty carpet and non working telephone. The room we changed to was better but still had dirty carpet and threshold in bathroom was coated with dirt on the edges. We had stayed at a 2 star the night before that was cleaner. We were very disappointed. We have stayed a lot in 2 1/2 star hotels that out shined this one by a mile.”

• The choice of special pillows option sent to room per request.
• Amenities did not meet our needs. Time schedule for continental breakfast too short. Pool near reception area very noisy.

“It was just okay as far as amenities. For families I can see where their needs would be meet. Staff was excellent and timely on problem solving. Request for the rapeutic pillow was almost instantaneous. Bed and pillows were very good but the room appointments were below par. Room was clean, however.”

• I liked the indoor outdoor pool.
• Old bathroom inside room and the lighting inside bathroom was not that great. Fan was awkward.

“Hotel had great staff. Loved the pool and the complimentary breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that would have been nice was a better upgraded bathroom.”

• I liked the recreation available for the kids, the laundry facility, the location to Nat'l Parks.
• I did not like the screaming kids in the pool when we were trying to fall asleep.

“This hotel was better than I expected. We stayed 5 nights while commuting to the national parks: Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon North Rim. Although those places were a little bit of a drive, we felt like we were coming home after a long day of hiking, so the pool was terrific. The staff was very friendly and helpful. St.George is a lovely city that is up and coming. I'd stay there again in a second.”

• The pools and breakfast were just perfect for our young ones!
• A bathroom by the poolside would be useful.

“The location was great. It was conveniently located to the freeway and stores. We appreciated the breakfast especially with 3 kids! They enjoyed the pools and ping-pong table. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.”

• The swimming pool was better than usual both indoor and outdoor.
• One of my family members found a cockroach in their room.

“This hotel was great. It had a great location, and the amenities were excellent. The indoor-outdoor pool was excellent for the family, and the workout room was great. They also gave us a newspaper in the morning. The internet access said it was free only for one day though, and the continental breakfast was OK.”

• Clean rooms, good mattress and pillows.
• Security issue in giving a key to our room to a stranger.

“The air conditioner goes on and off all night and is very noisy. The breach in security was extremely scary when people opened our hotel room door and entered with a large dog at about midnight. It was a very tense and scary moment. No apologies were made by hotel staff. They acted like it was our fault they gave us the room.”

• Pool was beautiful and warm; beds were very comfortable, free breakfast.
• AC was a little too cold.

“My family loved getting in the pool because it was so warm. Beds were great, and the shower had an interchangeable head which is a plus.”

• There wasn't anything I did not like.

• Nice beds, free wireless internet access, free parking, nice front desk staff.
• Outside hallway door lock was broken, bathroom had mold, dirty toilet rim, unfriendly maid, direct sun afternoon.

“Old hotel badly in need of renovation. Outside door sign said door locked at all times for safety, but door not locked even after midnight. Have to be on bed to see TV. Toilet rim was dirty, mold in tub. Ice and coffee maker stored next to toilet. Direct afternoon sun (110 degrees outside), so air conditioner ran all the time trying to get room cool. Definitely not 3 star quality.”

• The breakfast was fairly limited.

“The Holiday Inn at St. George met my expectations of the Holiday Inn name. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi were also soothing after a long day of hiking in Zion's National Park (only about 40 minutes away). My only complaint would be that the free (maybe I shouldn't be complaining at all) continental breakfast seemed a bit limited. There was some cold cereal, bagels, bananas, small muffins, yogurt and some juice. It wasn't real filling. Overall, I was pleased with our stay and would happily return again.”

• Convenient, nice rooms, beds awesome.
• The pool was not very clean as far as tissue in the pool and huge bugs.

“I would recommend the hotel for business guests for the simple reason of the beds, they are some of the most comfortable that Ive been on and the pillows are pretty great too. Not very child friendly as for rooms that are not attached to the main building.”

• Easy access from freeway. Most comfortable mattress I have ever experienced.
• Cockroaches seen outside ( not inside).

“Quiet, comfortable rooms. We were on the bottom floor and had no trouble with noise from the upstairs rooms. It was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Need to spray outside for cockroaches. My husband saw three outside when he was going for ice. We did not see any in the room.”

• One expects excellence from Holiday Inn and this location exceeded expectations.
• Did not find anything negative.

“The Holiday Inn in St. George, Utah makes you a believer that the hotelier giant is still the best bang for the buck. The staff is people oriented and helpful; making you feel comfortable after a long road trip. The room was clean and comfortable and everything was squeaky clean. This particular location has public places that are attractive, clean and magnetic that draws one to stay and lounge about even if you know you've got to meet a tight time frame. We stayed in St. George on a number of occasions and highly recommend this Holiday Inn over any other place in the area.”

• It had a great pool, very soft beds, good shower head.
• Maid service was very slow one day. Poor selection on continental breakfast.

“The staff was very helpful and check-in was quick. The room (and bathroom) was small, but adequate. We were pleasantly surprised to get a free continental breakfast, but it had very poor selection and in order to get any of the hot items we had to pay over $5. The pool and hot tub areas were quite nice. The only real complaint was the second day of our stay the maids did not clean the room until late afternoon. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.”
