• The Tyrolean is close to my son's residence, downtown Ketchum, and the wood river.
• There are no windows in the rooms, only sliding doors.

“I like the price and the convenient location of the Tyrolean. The breakfast is good; food is plentiful and varied. The sliding doors offer a nice view of "baldy". I like to sleep with an open window and there was no window. We kept the sliders shut for security reasons; it would be very easy for someone to get into the room from the balcony, which runs the length of the building. The air conditioner and the ice machine in the hall were both noisy, but we did appreciate the ice.”

• Very clean and good location.
• Nothing.

“The Tyrolean is a great place to stay in Sun Valley. The rooms were nice and clean and the pool was a nice place to hang out. Ketchum is very close and the view there is great. We would definitely stay again.”

• This hotel has undergone a lot of improvements in the past 15 years.
• The halls are too Narrow.

“The current hotel management is trying hard to improve the facilities at this hotel. The rooms are much cleaner and more pleasant than they were when we stayed at this hotel 15 years ago.”

• Quite, convenient location, easy access,continental breakfast good variety.
• Chipped paint.

• They moved my reservation up one day and did not charge me.
• The bed was not comfortable. It was too hard.

“The people were nice, but the place is out of date and in need of a major face lift. The room rates should be 1/2 of what we were charged. We also had to pay the hotel and I hope my credit card is not billed twice. If you can check. please do so and call me at (530) 223-5357.”

• Very close to ski lifts.
• Thermostat didn't work right. Shower water temperature varied. Not the best breakfast I have ever had.

“The hotel is old, but fairly well maintained. Staff is friendly. Lots of family friendly stuff.”
