• Room was recently remodeled. It is definitely not a 4 star.
• The rooms opened to the parking lot, not a central hallway.

“This hotel is good for someone who just needs a place to sleep. The room was recently remodeled and was clean. Its not the Ritz. No major complaints. Its a 2.5 star hotel. There is a pool, but we were there in the winter, so didn't use it.”

• Required walking to restaurant - good exercise.
• Noise from the street -- Business Route 8; heaters - burning smell.

“Spread out over 2 blocks & on both sides of a busy street; small gym (3 machines); friendly staff; fairly clean, although the heaters hadn't been used for awhile & this was a cold time & the dust created a burning smell; near a great market; walking to/from the restaurant was good for digestion. Nice cacti landscape. Sports bar overcrowded for football game.”

“This hotel is older but has been updated nicely. It offers a microwave and small refrigerator which was great! The shower had good pressure and temperature and the beds are comfortable. The free hot breakfast was a very nice bonus. I did not use the pool but it looked very clean and inviting.”

• The inside of our room was nicely remodeled with newer furniture and a flat screen TV.
• The layout of the motel is sprawling and one story. The rooms are on two different sides of a busy street.

“The staff at the hotel and at the restaurant was very courteous and professional. The room was nicely remodeled and clean. The hotel is very old and sprawling though, and spans over two sides of a busy street. They have tried to fix the motel up, but it still just looks old and bit run down.”

• Close to freeway, easy exit; breakfast included.
• Grounds were littered; needed tending.

“A pleasant, older property. Could have used more grounds keeping. Trash in flower beds, etc. was there throughout a long overnight stay. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.”

• It was OK.
• Our room looked into a dirty alley.

“This hotel was just OK. It is older and in OK condition, not far from the freeway. However, the staff charged us more money to upgrade our room because we had two older kids. This hotel is no bargain if you pay extra.”

• Staff was polite and lobby/atmosphere was nice.
• Needs to be updated, especially the bathtub.

“The atmosphere was very traditional, Spanish style, with white stucco and bougainvillea. Very pretty. The room itself is a nice design, as we had two rooms, but it could be updated as the bathroom had a small pedestal sink with nowhere to put items and the bathtub was "squashy". The staff was very professional and the lobby had movies and magazines available. Breakfast was in the Yuma Landing Restaurant and was a good place to eat. The kids loved the pool. Overall a good place to stay.”
