• Good location away from Vegas Strip/Casino's.
• Our room needed re-cleaned.

“This property could easily be considered a resort. No need to travel for activities or food. (If you don't mind paying the price) Both restaurants had excellent food and service!”

• Very good service and 5-star common areas.
• The rooms seemed a little vanilla, like a clean 3-star inside a luxury 5-star resort.

“Overall I enjoyed my time. The staff, service, and amenities were great. Unfortunately the room was rather plain and nothing to write home about. It was clean and nicely decorated, but it was a room, not really a "suite".”

• The view was magnificent!
• The initial room was a cop-out!

“This hotel offered a pleasing back-drop for business and pleasure. It helped us to think about settling in the area in the future. The food and service impressed this Dietitian.”

• Very quiet location. Nice setting.
• A charge for resort fees of $22 per night (waived) we were not able to use any of the amenities as it was too cold, etc.

“Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations however we stayed at a time that outdoor facilities couldn't be used because of weather. The hallways were not vacuumed in the 4 days we were there (staff shortages.) Very far from the strip, and airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would consider staying there again.”

• The hotel was gorgeous. We felt much pampered!
• We were placed in a room with a patio overlooking the parking lot!

“The hotel was fabulous! It is set on a beautiful lake and the view is breathtaking! The amenities are upscale and the staff is very accommodating. I felt much pampered and will stay there every time; I am in the Henderson, NV area. I would even prefer this hotel over any hotel with a casino because it is really more of a resort and retreat. I can easily make the 15 mile drive into Las Vegas for casino action, then retreat to my luxurious room and surroundings at the Loews hotel!”

• Absolutely wonderful.
• Restaurant was only fair to good.

“This is a beautiful property with very comfortable rooms. Public spaces are also lovely although they are redecorating them since the hotel changed from Hyatt to Loews. Except for the fact that the restaurant is not fantastic, I think this is a wonderful place for all travel. Families, business meetings, weddings, romantic travel, golf and even gambling.”

• Very nice if you like mid east theme.
• We were hit with a $15 a day resort fee.

“The hotel itself was fine, very out of the way for access to LVS convention center. Added charges upon arrival at 9.30 pm with no options to change are wrong.”

“At check in they charged a daily $15 fee partly for parking. This fee was never disclosed at the time of the reservation. Would not recommend you or the Hotel.”

• Very peaceful and a nice setting.
• Original room smelled like smoke.

“Original room smelled like smoke. We were told to wait and another room would be available later. Took our bags back to desk but they were not put in our rooms. Second room was very nice.”

• The most comfortable bed in the world.
• The maid woke me up at 8am. And they charged me $26 for a 10 min. Phone call.

“The balconies were tiny, but the pools were wonderful, so there were places to go outside. The valet staff was very helpful in calling cabs and shuttles, but the hotel is a bit far away from the casino, the other hotels, and the MonteLago village. I was a little annoyed that the maid woke me up at 8am to clean the room. Also, they charged me $26 for an 11 minute phone call, which was a little over the top. The hotel makes you pay for wireless internet, which I seem to get for free everywhere else. But overall, it's a very nice hotel and I would go back.”

• I liked the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel rooms.
• I did not like that on my first night the hotel overbooked and they had to have me stay in another hotel.

“I was disappointed when after getting in on a late night flight, I had to stay in another hotel because the hotel was overbooked. There was no transportation from the hotel to the airport and the $15 per day resort fee was not stated. Other than that the stay was comfortable.”

• Room and general layout.
• Restaurant food was awful and expensive.

“The location was great and the surroundings beautiful. The food in the restaurant was appalling and extremely expensive. There were also additional charges on our bill which needed to be removed since they were not ours.”

• The hotel common areas were outstanding, as was the staff.
• The room had flat screen LCD TVs, but only low quality cable TV. The hotel room was in a weird shape and the bathroom was very plain.

“Excellent get away spot, with a lot to do. Only about 15 minutes to the strip and less than a 1/2 an hour to Hoover dam. A lot of things to do in the general area and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Sits on a nice lake with plenty of sports and pools on the grounds.”

“From the beautiful drive down the parkway through the village to the hotel. The personalized service we received from the doorman and bellmen our stay was wonderful. We can't wait to go back!”

• Front desk person, was professional, but didnt feel friendly and welcoming.

“Away from Vegas, makes you feel as if youre somewhere else, but yet only 20 miles from the strip. Relaxing, setting with everything you would need right there.”

• Everything! Staff was superb, bed was fantastic, and view was amazing.
• A bit far out of Las Vegas but definitely worth the drive.

“Lowes lake Las Vegas was amazing! A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The staff was consistently helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The staff is a huge asset! The hotel itself is everything you would expect of an upscale resort. Call well in advance for spa treatments, though. I will definitely be back.”

• Beautiful, upscale surroundings that helped make it a very relaxing vacation. Very attentive staff.
• We ate at the cafe for dinner. For the price it was more pretentious presentation than good food. Charged for a dessert we ordered but didn't receive.

“Very nice, resort-like hotel with very attentive staff. It's a little out of the way if you want to spend a lot of time at the Strip, but great for a relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay there again.”
